I will give you a slight insight of how my mind works, I see the name Lazaro, at that point 'Hello Dave, your my wife now Dave' pops into my head as I think about A League of gentlemen, which then links to Royston Vasey, which is Chubby Brown's real name and Chubby Brown is a Boro fan. Then I try to think of something funny or witty to post but as usual fail to find something along them lines, so I proceed to write a reply on here which turns out to be a written version of verbal diarrhoea.7 points

Can see why walker is undroppable in this team. His pace on the turn over to recover has probably been the most important factor towards England conceding so few goals all tournament.6 points

Hartlepool Mail has a good story on Payero, with some actual journalism https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/sport/football/middlesbrough-fc/the-argentine-view-on-martin-payero-and-inside-track-on-middlesbrough-transfer-reports-3299016 The fee mentioned was $8million (£5.8million) which would be out of Boro’s price range, do you believe those figures to be correct? GGG:( the guy who broke the news) ““That’s the whole liberation fee. The contract of the player and Banfield’s fee. It’s a four-year contract.” (German later explained he believes the fee would be paid in ins5 points

I would sacrifice England going out to Italy in this final on Sunday 22-0, absolutely embarrassed by the Italians, just to breathe the same air as United, Liverpool and Arsenal on a yearly basis. Not in the way perhaps the likes of Sunderland did, you want to be at least competitive enough to guarantee staying up the way we did for most the 00s. But having that base to build from as a club, I'd have England embarrassed every sodding year just to see us playing against the best 19 teams in the country every week. I miss it so much.4 points

Just got home and saw the replay a few times again. Still can’t believe sterling got the pen. He was already beginning his dive before Jensen came in. Definitely looking for it and conned the ref into thinking it was Jensen who made him fall over when it was him looking for the dive. I have no problem with England winning but that should never ever be a pen.4 points

In fairness Fulham did offer him a new contract. But when he went to sign it, he dropped the pen #truestory4 points

Yes of course you could be correct but you would of thought they would have released my information when I posted the information on the 26th and not wait for 3weeks later. I obviously knew about south Americans from the screenshot I posted previously and lazaro's name was passed onto me. Didn't have any inkling on the Payero deal so club is obviously scouting the area thoroughly. Good Avenue to go down imo and something I've wanted the club to do for a long while. What's your take on it?4 points

Well if that’s the whole fee it would include his wages over four years. If we are paying 14k a week that’s about £2.8m which would mean that we are paying Banfield £3m. Thats paid in instalments is only £750k per year. Seems very achievable in that context.4 points

Sterling was barged by Jensen. Anywhere else on the pitch, it's a foul. But don't expect bitter anti-English people to acknowledge that inconvenient truth. It suits them to claim England cheated, because it gives them a chance to argue against reality. Onto the final, for the first time in my lifetime. We'll probably lose, but hey, got to be in it to win it...3 points

I can accept you not thinking it was a penalty, but to say there was no contact is just flying in the face of reality.3 points

They wanted to loan him, so Flamengo probably wanted to guarantee some extra payment if Huddersfield turn down a permanent deal. Sounds fair.3 points

Jan Mølby does quite a lot of commentating in Denmark. His humor is as dry as the Nevada desert. Last night when one of the italians had cramp his comment was "Yeah players now a days aren't as fit as they were in my time. They can't play all these games". His co-commentator had a small laugh and asked whether it was possible to get a cramp when you spend the entire match inside the centre circle, to which Mølby just replied "I don't know. It was always my teammates who were on the floor crying and whining".3 points

Interview Hartlepool Mail have done with the person who broke the Payero news... The fee mentioned was $8million (£5.8million) which would be out of Boro’s price range, do you believe those figures to be correct? GGG: ““That’s the whole liberation fee. The contract of the player and Banfield’s fee. It’s a four-year contract.” (German later explained he believes the fee would be paid in instalments rather than a one-off sum, yet the initial fee is unknown). If so, when could we expect a deal to be completed this summer? GGG: “I think that maybe not this week, maybe next3 points

Denmark are a very good side, sound defensively with real pace on the flanks, we must not underestimate them, look what they did to Wales. My prediction England 9 Denmark 03 points

Great game so far. No complaints that our first goal conceded is off a beauty of a free kick like that, but felt we deserved to be level going in at half time. Going to be a nervy last 45!2 points

pity Danny Murphy is so annoying as a commentator because i really liked him as a player. he was cultured and easy on the eye but has a sinister side with some of his commentary lines. works the other way too cos i really liked Bellamy when punditing. most annoying for me are Darren Bent, Redknapp, Tony Gale and Micah Richards. WHY DO THEY INSIST ON SAYING "LIKE I SAID EARLIER all the time when they clearly havent. plus my pet hate word.....listen. i realise now just how good Andy Gray was.2 points

I've looked about and can't find any stories saying 3-4 million, most the ones ive just found tend to say undisclosed but believed to be around 1m

they must give a toss given as they are often the clubs winning it would devalue the cups even more removing the champions league clubs from them, which would mean everyone gets much less money, as its going to be harder to sell the tv rights and sell more sponsorship for more money every year when you basically downgrade the competition and remove the best teams from it, epically internationally they are paying for them teams as they draw far more interest in them teams than they do we are not the only team that's had some crazy injury issues this season, so anything to help relieve that pressure has to help us, and think not having to replay teams will benefit us more, i'm all for no replays as i'd rather take a prem team to penalties than a replay where they have the players to fix where they went wrong the first time (as we saw vs chelsea in the semis this year lol). going to be fun to see more smaller teams down the pyramid getting some giant killings, love out like that me seeing a prem team get taken out by a non league or league 2 team and you know its something their fans will remember for ages, epically if they put a lil run together.

Dom Shaw on the podcast mentioned 3-4 million. My understanding from piecing together various stories was 3-4 million dollars and then Rotherham had a sell on clause and we ended up with just over £2million. But, thats based on stories and assumptions.
