It's gotta be Saturday somewhere right?... I mean it's still 1982 in Stoke 👀
This is what happens when I'm forced to take all of my holidays before the end of the year...
Does this mean the Sixties have ended .. Far out, man .. what a trip oh well, back to my eight track and platform shoes .. at least this new-fangled Disco stuff will never catch on 🙂
I agree with that @SouthernSmoggie I think he’ll be kept on until the summer as cover, then he’ll be allowed to go. I’m intrigued to see what kind of progress Wood makes with us over the second half of the season.
youngy mate, in the interests of fair play i must point out that i think you got the result of my game against Nawoo wrong. i had naoo winning 4-2 but it seems you had him/her down as a no show. can you re check please,
The updates about reserve/youth games has been picked up for questions asked to the club. Still awaiting confirmation but next meeting could be next week some time so hopefully we get an answer on that, even if it is just resourcing issues.

Bigger announcement though, you might have seen either at the stadium or on social media that the Foodbank collection went really well at the Swansea game. First time I got to bump into a couple of MSF members in person which was good.
The full announcement is at the following link but the big stats is that 737kg of food w
Hall is slow, not a great passer and always injured. He's decent in a low block where he needs to constantly get his head on the ball... But not sure he'll work for Wilder.
The Telegraph are linking us and QPR with Rangers' Jack Simpson. He's a left footed CB so sounds exactly what we need in defence to add balance there. At 24 year old he's the right age also.
We need 6 centre backs to play this formation
Dijksteel. Injury prone. Inexperienced as a centre back. Can play RCB only
Fry. Can play CB or back up RCB
Bamba. Ideal back up CB
McNair. Ideal RCB. Back up LCB
Hall. Injury prone. Back up CB
Wood. Potential but not clear if he will make it. Very inexperienced. Probably only RCB
Lee Peltier. Back up RCB. Emergency back up LCB
Given that we don't have a natural LCB and it is unclear whether Wood is good enough to get on the pitch then I can certainly see Hall being offered out to make room for a left footer.
Only one winner in that contest

Give him the money, he's down to his last few billion and needs it for his (alleged) court cases 🙂
Heard a lad say yesterday that he's refusing to get vaccinated because it's free, and since he has to pay for his inhaler, he doesn't trust free medication.
This is somebody who presumably has asthma, so he's one of the most at risk too. He's lucky not to have caught it.
Really pleased that the club are now doing interviews with players before matches as well as the manager.
It's definitely felt a lot more conservative in the last few years, only really hearing from players when they've signed and almost everything else was through Warnock.
At least outside of written interviews.
No expectations or hope, going to watch it feeling like a neutral somewhat. A good game of football will suffice. Even with a positive run of results, it's too little too late.
I think that says a great deal of how fans are feeling now
It's completely flat being a boro fan for many reasons this season and we have retreated so much from last seasons high
I for one can't wait for the season to be over!
Few more wins and I am looking forward to see the likes of luke Woolston getting a few chances by the end of the season.
I'm sure this MDT will pick up at the end of today's result 🤣
It was also largely because Warnock understandably kept getting short term contracts.
Last 8 games, then a 1 year deal, then another 1 year deal.
The last one to have a contract extended that wasn't about to run out was Karanka in 2015.
29th March 1902 - Second division - Chesterfield at Linthorpe road
The Boro promotion juggernaught just rolls on as we chase West Brom for that No1 promotion spot
Our last defeat was way back, 21st December to be exact, since that loss we've gone 12 games unbeaten, including two spells winning 4 & 5 games on the bounce, following two consecutive draws Chesterfield were to pay for our lack of wins as we recorded our second highest league win with a convincing 7-1 thrashing
With goals from, Robert Watson, William Wardrobe, a brace from Joe Cassidy & a treble from Alex Robertson, our 4th league hat trick, Robertson's 2nd Boro hat trick & our final hat trick at Linthorpe road before we moved across to Ayresome ParkÂ
