  1. Also young footballers who are the fittest of the fittest are extremely extremely unlikely to have any serious side effects from COVID. Pretty sure it’s like 99.97% or something (don’t know exact figure), so I can completely understand why many footballers don’t want it. They should be allowed to do whatever they want with there bodies and shouldn’t be forced or looked down upon for not taking this vaccine or any other vaccine.

  3. I made a big effortpost here and then my phone went silly and I lost it, but long story short there was already a live action TV series called The Ghost Busters and Columbia had to pay the makers to use the name as the title screen logo had already been made In order to avoid any further issues scenes were reshot where the text "Ghost Busters" was visible but when the VHS and later DVDs were released they had "Ghostbusters" on the spine label.

  4. We have a more progressive manager now though. I reckon wilder would have gotten a lot more out of Nmecha as an example.

  5. I'm just imagining all the other viruses groaning as Omicron yet again fails to kill an unvaccinated elderly person. "Even I could have finished that" says one old virus to his grandson virus.

  6. MIDDLESBROUGH v BOURNEMOUTH December 18th (12.30) Here is the amazing intro video for you, ladies and gentlemen ... Once upon a time ... a great football team from a little dirty industrial town had huge ambitions and did well for years .. But an evil present lurked and slowly put it's cold hand on the magical place called the Riverside Stadium! For years one evil spirit after another took control over the manager role in the great football club and everybody who supported the club got more and more unhappy ... There were evil and vile ghosts like the "Monk" ...

  7. Correct. The vaccine does not prevent anyone contracting or spreading the virus and the government, to my knowledge, has never claimed it would. What it implies is a person who may contract the virus has a greater chance of defeating the virus. . What the government is trying to prevent is a stagnant economy and over loading the heath service. How, well we all know that is restricting large gathering, lockdowns and isolation and masks. Unfortunately it doesn’t suit the UK media agenda. I think the question is, should players set an example?

  8. They absolutely should be void @Youngy228. It’s not fair on you having to keep tabs on games that are replayed and going back to whatever week it was originally scheduled for and trying to sort things out. I think the huge work that you put in already needs to be recognised. It’s absolutely not fair on you to expect you to put even more work in. I say void it and move on in the spirit of fairness to you. My result is not affected either way but even if it was I would feel the same as above

  10. But they aren’t. The government themselves point out that having the jab doesn’t stop you getting the virus and it doesn’t stop you spreading it. It prevents you from being seriously poorly. The CDC has even show their is correlation between vaccine uptake and infection rates. and I am double jabbed.

  11. Don't think an employer forcing someone to have a vaccination sits right with me. With the obvious exception of nurses or carers who work with highly clinically vulnerable people (which has always been the case). Better education is the answer if you want to bring people round to your point of view - trying to force them simply hardens their belief that they're being coerced into something bad.

  12. You can only presume these mega rich young men are fully behind conspiracy stories and so much better than anyone else! Agents must be having a field day looking into contracts. This needs sorting out

  14. This has reminded me of Patrick Roberts. Remember how the hype machine clicked into gear when he was rumoured to be joining us? If City are going to lend us a couple of players, they need to be decent this time - de Bruyne and Mahrez, or Sterling and Foden - or they can get in the bin.

  17. 1. Which team and formation will Chris "Messiah" Wilder go with? Same as against Stoke probably. I'd drop Tav and start Payero though. I'LL KEEP SAYING THIS UNTIL IT HAPPENS, CHRIS 2. This might be the best time to play Bournemouth, who have been struggeling for a while now - Will we win? Nah, teams in poor form who come to the Riverside tend to turn us over. I think it'll be a score draw. 3. Will the game be postponed like so many others have been the last few days? It's on Sky Sports at 12:30pm, don't be daft, lad 4: Who is your favourite Ghost Busters character

  18. It's not the same as before, though. It's basically mutating into a more severe version of the common cold, with the same symptoms but far lower mortality. A number of world leading scientists including Dame Sarah Gilbert and Professor Sir John Bell have said as much, and by March, it's highly likely we'll have to treat the Theta variant or whatever mutation we're up to as a virus little different to flu. Curtailing the season would be an over-reaction if these predictions are even partly accurate, so I think there'll be pressure in the meantime to fulfill as many fixtures as possible, po

  21. As someone who works in palliative care research in a university medical school but is not an infectious disease specialist or virologist what you say is well meaning but not quite right. Coronaviruses (i.e. the thing that causes Covid) are not something you can get herd immunity against. For example, many common colds are coronaviruses and no matter how many colds you catch, you can always catch more. Same with flu which is caused by a whole range of different flu viruses. As elimination seems impossible at this point (elimination of a virus is next to impossible apart from certain

  26. Poor Hayden Coulson. Warnock is favourite to take over Ipswich😬 Reckoght we might see him back in january anyway as he's not really playing at Ipswich anyway. It looks like he can't even make their squad, so will he have anything to offer us?
