  1. Just for balance, I had my booster 3 weeks ago and had a slightly sore arm for a few hours, but that was all, don’t let any possible side effects put you off, they are quite rare.

  3. I had the Moderna booster yesterday after being double AZ jabbed in the summer, and it's the first time I've felt under par. I had a headache last night and today my arm is quite sore. Fortunately it's not my good arm, so certain pastimes don't have to be curtailed while I recover.

  6. Cheers,i must have missed that,Spose it makes sense. It would be brilliant for him & the club if he got a good run of games. He has had such bad luck.Wish him all the best either way🤞

  7. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but i wonder if there will be a place in or around the squad for Marcus Browne after the window. Will our medical team want to keep a close eye on him rather than letting him out on loan when fit. He has a lot to prove but also has a lot to offer imo.

  8. Got my booster booked for the middle of January. Felt a bit rough after my first 2 jabs, but thats got to be better than catching a severe dose of Covid.

  9. Crooks has been a massive plus this season in my eyes. Much more skilled than I expected and a willing grafter. Might be the best thing NW did for club and if Wilder can add to his abilities, then he will become one of our most important players. Also seems to be one of those people that gets on with team mates and looks genuinely happy when things go well for them, so hopefully sticks around for a while

  10. Did you had too many shots off of a bar last night? 🍻

  11. Crooks was down injured and looked like he might not be able to continue. That was why I said he wasn't looking good. It was a perfectly reasonable comment in the context in which it was posted and was not saying anything about his ability as a player.

  12. I thought that it was common knowledge in Ireland that one shot off the bar doesn't count 🙂 needs to be at least two or three before it makes a difference and over seven nights to be official according to Dubliners

  16. Balogun starts for Arsenal tonight v Sunderland. Looks like Arsenal playing a 4.1.3.2 with Balogun partnering Nketieh up top.

  19. My first AZ jab left me shivering and aching overnight for about 5 or 6 hours then just fatigued and exhausted for a day or two. The second AZ jab had no side effects whatsoever and I felt normal (or as "normal" as any Boro fan can feel). The Pfizer booster bizarrely left me with a small lump in my armpit for a few days that was uncomfortable but that was it, I'm not even sure if it was just coincidence rather than jab related.

  20. Round 22 - sadly I have gone with majority of thoughts and have void the postponed game. Apologies to matches where this result would change fixture outcomes. Moving forward any postponements that are postponed outside of the fixture times will be classed as void. I fear this will become far more frequent and the only way to run the league to keep people interested as otherwise we could be waiting weeks for a round to finish.

  21. The only thing I find disturbing about Gibson's stance on Derby is that he was forced into it by the EFL turning a blind eye to flagrant cheating and financial mismanagement.

  22. Bearing in mind I'm still fairly young, so it's bound to be easier for my immune system, I had my booster on Wednesday and bar an hour or so of shivering in the night I was absolutely fine. Had no real issues with any of my vaccines or even when I actually had Covid.

  24. Hitting the post or crossbar isn't counted as a shot on target.... Unless you score, then it is 🙂

  25. If we can manage to get our games played and get some decent results all these postponements could play into our hands later on where our fixtures won’t be congested and we can rest players. Considering the season we’ve had it’s quite remarkable that we are only 10 points off automatics with 69 points to play for. Not that I think we will go up in the autos but the top half is beginning to be congested and Fulham and Bournemouth have really stuttered.

  28. The watmore chance actually counted on the expected goals but it takes the last point of contact so it was taken from hitting his back 😂

  29. It tries to measure the quality of your chances on a scale of 0-1, which is something that was never really measured previously. Before xG, a shot was a shot. So now, a tap in might be given an xG of 1 as a player would almost always be expected to score, whereas a 40 yard screamer might have an xG of near to zero. For example if a team had five shots on target you may think they were unlucky not to score - but if they were all daisy-cutters from 30 yards that the keeper saved with his eyes shut, the overall xG would be low. Whereas when Watmore skies a literal open goal and it's recorded

  31. Just saw this one on Twitter... Before Wilder, Boro created more than 3.0 xG twice in 200 games. Wilder has done it in six.

  32. I thought Dijksteel grew into the game and became more composed and even a serious threat in the second half. He has probably more adapting to do than either Fry or McNair in the new Wilder role but I think he has the ability to grow into it and even possibly excel given time. He can, get forward, dribble and is a big strong lad at the back so I have high hopes for him. McNair and Howson combined to nearly gift the Cherries a goal yet both seem to be getting better under Wilder or perhaps I should say looking more comfortable and polished. Despite his occasional errors I think Dijksteel i

  33. Warnock was all about the 'bantz'. I could only accept it and perhaps enjoy it when things were going well to begin with. Early on when it was keeping us up and winning every other game in the process, you've got to enjoy it. We'd had an awful time that year and coming in during the initial return from lockdown to keep us up shouldn't be forgotten. But last season, we went through some really tough spells. We started alright but it soon when down the *** pan. When that happens, the first thing you want to see is some sense of accountability, responsibility, action, etc. Warnock was a

  34. I obviously did not enjoy them at the end, nobody did. His excuses wore thin and it started to become clear he was edging towards an exit in the near future, but I found them very enjoyable when things weren't going wrong. Warnock could be very charismatic and charming when he wanted to be, he obviously defaulted to blaming the officials and throwing individual players under the bus when he was struggling. I've yet to see Wilder struggling with us, so I don't know how press conferences would be in those circumstances. But I found peak Warnock press conference more enjoyable

  35. Other than most of our players not being good enough, and the manager's subs being awful, we did ok today in the end. Think a few of you should consider taking up a new hobby on a Saturday afternoon 🤦‍♂️

  36. My Father went 15 years with never having a sick day but started developing symptoms of his right knee swelling up. Several months, examinations and pain killers later he was declared fit for work with his knee strapped up after about 6 months off work. He lasted two days before he had to go back to the GP who then sent him to JCUH. After an exploratory Op they sewed him back up, him two weeks to live after the diagnosis was that Cancer had spread from his bowel and he was literally riddled. He passed exactly two weeks to the day. Hence my concern and awareness that things may be a little more
