  1. I wouldn’t but just thought it was an interesting note to see the difference in attitude because people are behind Wilder

  2. Merry Christmas Everyone!! Although a time of celebration for many, it can also be a difficult day for some. If anyone is struggling and needs chat remember you aren't on your own. Feel free to drop me a message or just start a new thread and have a chat. Up the Boro 🌲

  3. So, my oven broke down when I turned it on yesterday ready to put the turkey in😱 the panic, the horror. After almost an hour of panic I got a hold of one of our neighbors. They weren’t home for the evening but had a spare key in the their garage so I could use their oven. Christmas saved. Got tickets for a Suede concert and Snoop Dog next year😜

  4. yes its really obvious the players are behind him. like it was clearly obvious our players hated being forced to play the way warnock wanted. howson is a great example of a professional who does what the managers asks. see how his game has changed? all he used to do was hide and hoof percentage balls over fullbacks heads. now he plays the ball is always available. its like night and day comparing him under each manager.

  6. No @Johnmfc81 he won’t know the Premier League initially. He will have to get used to it the same as the rest of the team 😃

  10. I honestly think we will see the best of him next year/season. He will have a full preseason with us, will know the language better, and the league.

  11. I think in the summer it’s something to be considered. Not just for Bola but a few others as well. It doesn’t matter how good you are if you miss a quarter of the season. However I would wait until the summer to see if there are issues with training or the medical staff/set up.

  13. It's basically a creamy potato and anchovy casserole.....imagine Dauphinoise but replace the cheese with anchovies and top with breadcrumbs

  14. @Borodane For Xmas eve, I’m cooking a Christmas ham in Coca Cola with a maple syrup and mustard glaze. Accompanied by roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and crusty bread with lashings of red wine.

  15. JLooking back I have worked hard for what I earned but now realise the fact I had the opportunity is a privilege itself. I have struggled finding work over the last three years and lost family members and have my own health issues. I have experienced an emotional roller coaster and been in dark places I would rather not discuss, so it’s been tough on family. I see others there struggles and see them get knocked down and get up again, and again and that spurs me on, never give up. Its not easy and it’s in these times you learn the value of love, charity and friendship, what a hug, a simp

  17. Thanks for the sentiments, @Downsouth. 2021 has been pretty grim for me and my family at times, but like the Boro, the prospects for 2022 look far brighter ...

    • John Ruddy been officially let go by Wolves it seems, I wouldn't be totally against him signing. Was always a Good Championship level keeper for both Wolves and Norwich. I read something regarding George Friend a few pages back the other day and I would be totally all for it, would add some great leadership and the fans would surely be right behind him still and as a left sided centre back I think he could do a real job for us even if just as a back up option. Also heard the Rhodes rumors and I personally believe he is a perfect Wilder Striker, such a hard worker and a great finisher. Which leads me to my final former Boro player, Ben Gibson. I again would love to see him return and think he could flourish in the left sided centre back role for Wilder's system. I do think the best options for those outside centre back roles are more suited to a full back converted/secondary centre back but at Sheff United Wilder didn't always have that option and was still greatly successful. If Fry was to leave Gibson would be great in the middle of the 3 of course.
    • Very strange move, but apparently it's a three-year contract and for good money. He'll finish is career mid-table in the Championship.
    • Nothing mate. Just a hunch feeling.
    • Heard something more or just speculating?
