Covering full wages plus a £1million which further adds on if we reach play offs or get promoted. Scott is pulling a blinder financially in some of tge deals we are offering. What I find strange is Bausor is involved in spence negotiations and not keiron Scott. On gayle I was told it didnt move past enquiry stage but I'm sure someone said on here that its progressed since, so I may be out the loop on that deal.

I seem to remember reading similar comments last year re McNair. I dont see him going anywhere.Massive part of the team & possibly our most consistent performer over the last few years. His ability to play in so many positions makes him an essential part of the squad & i would be stunned to see him sacrificed for the rebuild. Just my opinion

McGoldrick as the 5th, barely ever plays, good experience, can be used in a pinch striker allowing Josh Coburn to go on loan and play 46 games wouldn't be the worst move in the world. I don't expect McGoldrick to get any major minutes or anything

Anyone who's even remotely content for McNair to leave either only sees football on a skin deep level or is an absolute Doyle. I've been away for well over a year and this place has not changed. The positives nor the negatives.

Remember when Spurs kept telling the press that they'd bid £15m for Downing, when the bid was actually less than £5m (if I recall correctly) they are a cheap club who want to play with the high rollers but don't want to splash the cash.

Just seen bit on Spence on Sky. That story by the reporter seems to have a very spurs angle to it. Almost as if Spurs asked him to put it out there in hope of us being frightened that they might move on to other targets. Spurs can go elsewhere. As has been said I believe other clubs will meet our valuation of £15m plus add ons.

This is a bit of an urban myth. Wilder doesn't actually rotate his strikers. In the promotion season, Sharp and McGoldrick started pretty much every game they could. He does routinely sub off one of his strikers after about 60 minutes. He only 'rotated' our strikers because none of them earned a place. In general, Wilder is old-school and doesn't rotate. If you're in the team you get dropped if you're not performing. He doesn't generally rotate players in and out for fitness reasons. If he thinks you're the best option in that position and you can play, you play.

We've got two top signings in Giles and Lenihan as they're perfect fits for what we want at LWB and a leader at CB. It's incredibly promising that we've been able to sign two players so highly sought after by many Championship clubs. It will further help us attract similar promising players as we're looking to have some momentum behind our squad build. GK, LCB, DM and two strikers are next on the list.

Good news! On Spence, I hope we've told him "other teams have bid an acceptable amount for you, spurs haven't. Well give them till the end of June to agree the fee that other teams have produced or we cancel talks - you either go to one of the other teams or we see you in training Monday morning".
