  1. Toon fans accusing Don Goodman of fixing the draw, although the top is covered, he was possibly able to see the numbers through the side of the drum.

  2. Watford (H) V Middlesbrough (A) Saturday 30th September KO 15:00 - Vicarage Road Ref - Oliver Langford Form (Right is recent) Watford LDWDL Middlesbrough LLDWW Historically we're not great at Vicarage Road but I'm looking forward to this. One step closer in our Milk Marketing Board, Littlewoods, Rumbelows, Coca-Cola, Worthington's, Carling, Capital One, Carabao Energy Drink™ EFL Cup run, and another favourable draw in us facing Exeter City surely looks to have boosted the club further. We needed this boost, as the lads seem to be

  10. Over the moon with the draw, the only time in our history we've had all league cup games away up to the 4th round was 2012/13 when after beating Bury 2-1, Gillingham 2-0, Preaton 3-1, we were drawn away to PL Sunderland & came away with a 1-0 win, only to be drawn away, again, in round 5 to eventual winners Swansea, unluckily losing 1-0 Knew I had to get one in @Downsouth😏 Still cant load any photos

  12. Not sure what to make of this article other than Ajax sound like an absolute basket case at the minute and clearly struggling if they are playing Chuba on the Right Wing regardless of their beautiful Ajax way. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2023/09/28/former-arsenal-man-criticised-for-poor-technique-after-his-12m-move/

  15. The next round is the quarter-finals. We also made the quarter-final in 2018 under Pulis after winning on Hallowe'en. It's likely we're playing on Halowe'en again this time round. There'll be at least 2 EFL sides in the quarter finals and last time, we got Burton Albion at the Riverside in the Quarters. Naturally, we managed to lose that after beating Palace in the previous round.

  20. Our first ever match against Exeter. We play Plymouth on the Saturday too, so it's going to take some dedication to the cause for those who want to go to both, unless they already live in the South West.

  21. bangura is hurt, I expect him to settle in as first choice when he's fit. Engel is taking longer to settle than hoped. I still personally believe we've done him a little dirty because if you look at his tape and his highlights and what he's good at, we haven't asked him to do any of that.

  22. For once I agree with you (although I'm still slightly more optimistic than you I would guess). Southampton are ridiculously open & will make a lot of teams look good and Bradford, while a good L2 side, are still a L2 side. Need to see these performances over a few more games before I start saying we're back. These next 3 games are real tests, if we can come out of these with at least 2 decent results, I'll be happier for sure.

  23. Two reasonable results against poor opponents and all of a sudden, by some, we are flying. If anything I call it relief and Carrick got a credit rebate. I don’t buy in to it and will wait until around the 10 to 15 game mark.

  24. Away to Exeter nailed on. Would rather see "small" team benefit than one of the franchises if we can't get a home game but not too fussed. Just want a team we don't play too often.

  28. I disagree. It seems clear that they met, they were concerned and they agreed that the best thing to do was to stick together. If they were all sticking their hands in the sand, that would be a bad thing. I see also that Carrick has said this to the Gazette I have some doubts about whether Carrick will make it as a manager but this kind of comment gives me reassurance. Like Father Christmas, he knows when we've been good and when we've been bad and is doing his best to address it. Doesn't change my belief that there have been some big misjudgements over the summer from every
