  1. Hi guys! PAOK fan here from Greece. You are getting a really hard worker in Akpom. He is a top lad and a good professional. When he first came, he was considered a bench player. It was the 2018-19 season. During the first half of that season he would only come in as sub but during the January transfer window, PAOK sold their best striker, Prijovic in Arabia. Everyone was panicking since we were on route to our first championship in years. Chuba stepped up and was one of the best players, in the second half of the season. He contributed in PAOK's first championship in 34 years (!) where we were

  2. Well here we are looking forward to the new season of 2019/2020 where upon we will all collectively follow the fortunes of the only football club that matters to us, Middlesbrough FC and we have been fortunate enough to have been able to do so for many a season now with their ups and their downs thanks to the fact that we have and are members of the oneBoro forum, a forum that has become a part of life to so many people over the years. This forum has given me an outlet and a way to share my love of MFC and to chat to like minded people from all over the world. It has allowed me to be

  7. Not attention seeking here but quite a few people tagging me for updates etc so I'm letting you all know that I am going to come away from the forum for a while and keep the information I am told to myself. I'm sure members will comment that it's because of the information I posted yesterday and don't believe it to be true, that's not the reasons.- It's absolutely fine what people believe and don't believe and I don't take it personal but 100% the information I relayed was true and that's why I kept it quiet until I was given the green light to release information. What I do take per

  8. Easy enough to write patronising rubbish when you don’t actually support the club? We are only Middlesbrough after all? Narrative seems to be ‘stop moaning, be grateful for what you have, with a bit of luck you could have been 10th instead of 15th’ Well whoopee-do Craig. Come back when you’ve done a lifetime of support and at least 5 years of watching backwards anti-football. To my mind we are exactly where we deserve to be in the league right now, and given the investment it’s nowhere near good enough.

  14. I don't know if anyone else was close by or saw that but I was coming down the stairs in the North for the build up to that second goal. Payero sets up Coburn and we should be saying first and foremost how good Coburn was as a young lad coming on for those final few minutes and he deserved his goal. Great stuff. But the relief for Payero. Oh my word. Fans and players alike just wanted to hug the lad. Everyone running in to celebrate with him. I've watched him a lot this season so far and I don't just mean on the pitch. Watched his body language as a young lad coming in from a country on t

  16. I don’t normally post if have ITK info but I have a few things if anyone is interested. I’ve only had ITK info once before and that was when I broke Burnley’s interest in Fry a few year ago. From the same source; Warnock is taking a few trialists to Cornwall with him to have an in depth look, one of them is Maghoma, the other 2 I don’t know names of. Club keeping it under wraps. We’re confident on getting Gibson back as he is being stubborn as he only wants to come back here and Burnley don’t want him at the club again to avoid a repeat of last season, this will go to the wire.

  17. Now I've heard everything. The reason we're in a mess is because karanka wanted an expert in place in each role at the club. Then pulis rides in on his stead and saves us by saying we need to fire a load of people because we can get that fella over there to do his job for the same wages he's currently on. Who cares what that does to his workload and the quality of the output. Its absolute rubbish and deflection to the highest degree. The problem isn't the 50 odd k you might shave off the annual expenses by firing a couple of analysts, its the millions wasted on terrible signings ove

  23. Sorry I just needed to see kids as off to London tomorrow until saturday. Randolph - West Ham tried to renegotiate with us and wanted a loa as they couldn't be sure with injury... woody said buy or do one basically. Ayala - Injury doesn't look great, ankle still swollen but heads south with squad on Monday. Spence - Negotiations moving forward , all looks positive. 4 prem teams have asked to kept informed of any changes. Howson - pretty much all agreed ... 3yr deal. Britt - lots of loan interest but everyone told the same 10mil or not interested. Ro

  24. As it's looking a virtual certainty that Warnock is going to get the job for next season, it's worth noting both the significant positives and negatives that will result from Warnock being our manager, and also how accommodating his style of football will effect our long term direction once he inevitably leaves. Clearly, Warnock is a very effective manager who knows how to assemble promotion winning Championship teams on a tight budget. In simple terms he's the perfect manager to get us out of the situation we are currently in. I think the timing of us having so many players out of contract, w

  28. What are other people's views on how whether there is sufficient scrutiny on the Club internally and externally such as through the Evening Gazette and BBC Tees?. My post in the "Should Jonathan Woodgate be sacked?" thread generated discussion so maybe it's worthy of its own thread. I'll get the ball rolling below by adding a few more points. Externally, I think it's pretty much a dictatorship with the Club's treatment of the Evening Gazette and BBC Tees over the years. We're teetering on the brink of relegation to League One after the appointment of Woodgate backfired as expected and is

  29. What a relief! Today's results just show how strong the championship league is! A nice win and performance to finish of what can only be described as a absolutely shocking seasons for the fans. If it wasn't for Warnock then I think absolutely we would of been relegated under Woodgate. Warnock, Blackwell and Jepson have done an excellent job given the circumstances like players dropping like flies. 4 away wins was massive for this football club! We need to improve as a club as a whole and hopefully correct decisions finally get put right in the summer starting by the right

  30. Steve Gibson's primary concern is to have total control and likes to see the club as his vehicle to give his mates jobs, which vicariously gives him power. Gibson, akin to his Tory leaning ways, is obsessed with power and controls the media by keeping the Evening Gazette and BBC Tees toting the party lines. I don't blame the Evening Gazette sports team, it's just Gibson and the Club using their power to remove any meaningful scrutiny that the club have. The Club have got Neil Maddison on the payroll with his job within the club. Slaven got sacked in that role after becoming too outspoken. Gibs

  31. Settle down children and I'll begin... Twas the night before Luton, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a Mejias. A blank kit was packed by the kit man with care, In the hopes that Anfernee Dijksteel would soon be there. The players were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of promotion danced in their heads. And Woody in his suit, instead of Pulis in his cap, Had given us hope that we wouldn't play crap. But out on the pitch surrounded by noise, Woody sprang from the dugout to encourage the boys.

  33. For all those asking about these 4 players at rockcliffe just before weekend. I have done some digging appears it was bola Browne and 2 premiership loan players, sketchy with details but I believe they have agreed everything just awaiting sanction from club when back from overseas. Also don't believe everything you here from Charlton watch this space.

  35. All the best. Posters are desperate for info, you give them it and they ridicule you. In the past I’ve had the same info passed on as you. Anything you get is never going to be 100% because of how football works but people would rather shoot you down instead of appreciating the info passed on.

  40. Window hasn't been bad at all. Got in 2 fullbacks and a winger. I agree we could've done with more but we've kept our most important players and hopefully got the wage bill down to a sustainable amount. Got good money for the players we sold. Plenty of big earners out Willing to give youth a chance. We knew the craic with finances early doors and I think we've come out of it alright. Better than throwing money at daft loans and wages.

    • It wasn't just a few minutes. I'm pretty sure he got more time than Bahamboula did on the pitch for us didn't he? That was someone who seemed to have the consensus of the fans that he was worth a go for the small fee we had to pay. Paterson didn't look influential, he didn't look fit, he was bang average.
    • Given Warnock's apparent opinions on fitness and his performances in those friendlies, I'm not at all shocked that we didn't sign him and I'm still relatively glad we didn't. He's not setting the league alight every week just as his team isn't and really, whose place does he take in the team? Watmore? Tav? Hernandez? Jones? I'm not sure I'd swap any of those players with Paterson.  Sounds like he was influential today and scored a cracking goal? Good for him. But he's done that before we had the chance to sign him too, not sure why it would change many opinions on whether we should have brought him in.
    • So any of those players could have been sat on our bench yesterday but instead we only named six subs, including the non-league player who hasn't looked ready for this level, who gets in for no other reason than Warnock signed him.  No wonder they called themselves Warnock's rejects.   It must be utterly deflating to play for this club unless you're one of the favoured ones.  One of the least professionally run football clubs in the country.
