  1. Your user account will be migrated over :) Yes 100% :) Haha, guaranteed to happen! If it does happen, I'll review how far through the process we are and try and get something back up and running. Hopefully the club can work around our big move and delay the announcement to the following week!
  2. Since launching the oneBoro forum it has grown from strength to strength to a point where we now have in excess of 635,000 posts and an ever growing member base. Over the years we’ve relied on the open source MyBB forum software which has served us well to this point. However, based on feedback over the past few seasons and the need to keep improving, I’m happy to say that change is coming! We’re going to be migrating the oneBoro Forum over to Invision Community, a full-featured forum platform! With features such as @mentions, enhanced notifications, embedding Twitter/Facebook/Instagram
  3. This should be resolved now, please let me know if it happens again!
  4. Sorry for the issues with the ads - the ad network will be taking a look into this first thing. Cheers
  5. Strange! Yeah if that happens again try and take a screenshot and post here or email it to admin@oneboro.co.uk and I’ll take a look
  6. @Will, yeah I managed to speak to someone at Tapatalk. They offer two options, firstly, a fully managed forum/community platform where they deal with everything (updates, hosting, new features...), secondly, a mobile application around your current forum. As much as I like the idea of a fully managed solution, I was put off by some reviews and comments around Tapatalk holding the forum data 'hostage'. They'd be the ones in control of the data, so could choose to sell it on, use it in any way they like, and also refuse to hand the data back to you if you decide to leave. It didn't sit too we
  7. Haha, to summarise... - it’s annoying the forum doesn’t support native emojis at the moment - it’s possible to allow them - it’s risky to do the change to allow them - things aren’t fun to fix when they break :D
  8. Not the ones which come out of the box with iOS or Android, but you can do the old school : ) (without space). But considering we’re in 2019, you should be able to!
  9. Hey, so the issue with emojis is an annoying one and one which I’ll look at the best way to approach. The encoding of the forum database doesn’t save the character encoding required for the emojis. The change to allow them to work will be to either bump to the latest database version or change the ch***t encoding, both of which I want to stay cautious about based on the 600k+ posts we have on here. A corrupt database isn’t the best of fun :(
  10. Hopefully that should now be back working for the moment, I'll investigate a more robust change for this as it can't keep happening!
  11. Hmm, is this only happening for you on the mobile site?
  12. The issues Wilson reported should now be fixed (the timestamp when quoting and quoting in the quick reply box). I have forced a refresh of the stylesheets, so that the any issues members are having when formatting isn't being pulled in, should be fixed. Borodane, that's very strange. I'll see if I can spot anything that may be causing that.
  13. Cheers, I’ll take a look into fixing that. I’ll also provide an update on a few other points that were raised in this thread later this week.
  14. Last night was hugely damaging - Pulis has some making up to do this Christmas https://www.oneboro.co.uk/blog/last-night-was-hugely-damaging-pulis-has-some-making-up-to-do-this-christmas-191218 The latest offering by @Smithy_MFC84 on the oneBoro Blog
  15. I've just made a change to 'reset' the forum styling - hopefully this will pull through the correct styling for you. If not, I'd recommend trying to access the forum in a Private Browsing Mode to see if the site renders correctly. If anyone else if having similar issues, let me know - thanks

  19. Just a quick note to say that with the planned downtime this week the forum will be offline from around 21:15. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks
  20. Tapatalk also have "Groups" which is what I was looking to explore (https://www.tapatalk.com/tapatalk_groups). But as you mention, they can also provide an app version of the forum which is supported with the forum software we use. Exploring the options :)
  21. Morning! These issues have now been fixed :fire: Let me know if you come across any other problems. Cheers
  22. GEORGE SAVILLE - BORO'S LATEST BOO BOY NEEDS TIME TO PROVE HIS WORTH By @Smithy_MFC84 But whether it’s a regular occurrence or not, it still doesn’t rankle with me any less than if it was the first of such an instance. Now of course, we’ve seen players getting hammered by fans on social media BEFORE they’ve even signed on the dotted line. Talk about a warm welcome, eh? Yet when a player signs, no matter what your thoughts are on them, isn’t it only fair you give them a chance? Well, if you’re thinking straight then you’ll know the answer to that.
