Slept very well after last nights result.. Had a think about some player ratings so her is my view from the away end.. Dimi - 8 absolutely solid. Competent performance, caught everything and wasn't overly troubled. Feel better with him in goal. Damia - 7 thought he looked really good before he went off injured. Physically imposing.. Scared the **** out of Daehli Friend - 6.5 not his best game in a Boro shirt.. A few errors but not overly troubled by weak Cardiff Ayala - 7 Struggled with Jones in the air but other than that looked composed Omeruo - 7 (See Ayala) Leadbitter - 7

Just bumped into (ran out of work and accosted) Adomah, Wildschut and Blackman on Cardiff Queen Street.. Asked them very politely for a win as my in laws are all city fans!! Nice blokes, signed autographs and told me which hotel they were staying at (which I thought was a bit weird) Jamal Blackman is a giant!

I think we will see more from Le Fondre and Maynard tonight with Jones being rested also maybe Macheda too Outside their attack I don't see too much threat in any Cardiff lineup our midfield will outbattle theirs and I don't think their defence will cope with our plethora of attacking options 2-1 Boro
