Villa aren't interested in him because they believe he'll fail to develop, but because they expect him to develop well beyond his current level. Which can only serve imo to underline the reason to keep him until the summer as the earliest point of departure, it's a gamble but so was signing him in the first place.

Hope Rogers stays, think that this squad with a season in the league plus a couple of additional players. RB, CF, CM will be able to challenge for promotion next season.

Can't see the move being good for Rogers, but with tough negotiations, possibly players plus cash it could be very good for us.

Plenty of contract left, but price tag and a sell on clause, it's the business model we are developing, bought by City for £4m wonder if they have a percentage of any fee.
