  1. I would 100% take Pellistri for the RW slot. Takes the pressure off Jones without losing the style of Jones.
  2. I hope we don't get rid of Dijksteel. I just can't comprehend his seeming fall from grace, to being golden boy with Warnock (brolly and mints) and Wilder to not getting a look in with Carrick. You think it's purely down to positional shortfalls?
  3. I would also really like Ryan Hardie, I have done for a few years after looking back through my post history. Have watched him a large number of times with my lad being a huge Argyle fan. He works best as a central striker in a 3, so maybe the 4-2-3-1 would suit him. Would take a bit of £ to get him though with how The Greens are going at the moment.
  4. Yeh I initially thought Garnacho when Carrick first joined but he's getting a few minutes now for the 1st team and doing well, I would imagine that it would be Pellistri that would be more realistic (but even that is quite unrealistic). The other name I would like to see from Utd would be Iqbal, who would solve the massive lack of creativity and unpredictability in the middle of the park.
  5. According to a leak, looks like Izzy has made Southgates initial 55 man England squad!
  6. No way we deserve that!!!! Get in all the same though!!! McGree is really really poor out of possession. Have counted at least half a dozen times he has bottled out of a challenge.
  7. I for one am looking forward to seeing Garnacho and Zidane Iqbal in January
  8. I've got a bet on that I made with my mate about 6 months ago that I think he'll be on the plane to Qatar.
  9. The year is 2039: Fulham have enquired about the possibility of signing Cass Rooney on a holographic loan for the season. Boro fans wonder if this opens the door for Muniz...
  10. Having caught up I have to agree that losing Tav this late before the season opener leaves us light. I can only assume that we have managed a decent sell-on % in compromise for the surprising initial fee. I'm not buying the Echo's rhetoric either; they have intentionally used ambiguous phrases such as "offer we couldn't refuse" and "high valuation offer" to try and appease us after seeing the reaction from the fans and forums. I personally think that McGree is going to step up and have a great season. I also think people are doing him a disservice as well when highlighting Tavs engine; I
  11. Ah sorry mate. Mrs was feeling unwell so had to call our private GP Dr Tenres to come for a home visit.
  12. Light some candles and whack on the Boyz II Men CD, usually works for me...
  13. In Brentford's promotion season the Sky commentators always said he was known as the best finisher at the club, and was seen as Brentford's super-sub. A bit like Brentford's version of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as a player
  14. Yep in agreement that £15m + add-ons is a remarkable result for us. Kind of hoping this doesn't mean we are held to premium on other players now other clubs know we've had a bit of a windfall
  15. Play the same system too. Him and Hardie up top would be ridiculous. (Me and my lad watch a lot of Argyle games)
