He's always claimed he's a CM afaik. Have a vague memory that Pulis did play him at RB in the few appearances he gave him, so you could be right there.
He played at RB for Ireland quite a lot

Hard to know. At 21 he's played hardly any football and hasn't got a senior goal to his name. Connolly was further on in his development than he is and at a younger age.
Yeah there are some bold statements for a lad with 14 senior appearances

It’s quite sad that both local papers don’t appear to have much of an idea on what is actually going on. I can’t actually remember the last ‘exclusive’ either the Gazette or the Echo had.
Gone are the days of Vickers dropping a hint on Twitter and the whole forum going into meltdown.
I don't think local media works that way any more, if they did the club would just cut them off as they did a few years ago. They can't risk their ability to report on the games by potentially scuppering deals

Is that actually what Lutons mascot is called? Just looked it up - that's a horror, jesus christ.
It sounds like the name of the local pedo

Not necessarily, he will be weighing up the pros and cons of it, he will be offered a higher wage with Luton but could also have a pay decrease if they get relegated. So he could find himself no better off in the long run with wages. Also he will be looking at the styles of play, would he fit in to a Luton team who don’t play with a lot of width and play on a narrow pitch. The lure of premier league football is a factor but not always the best choice.
He still will have played in the premier league though, where as there are no guarantees with us. Maybe I'm being too strong on this but to me it sounds a very easy choice

Not sure what you want by way of proof given I was told it verbally from a very close source. You can take it or leave it, entirely up to you. 🤷♂️
I will absolutely leave it thanks, I get the credence people put into sources and ITK's but I'd rather go with common sense approach that you take a better job if it's offered to you

he does yeah.
Proof?

Just now, Denzel Zanzibar said:Giles definitely wants to come back, he made a lot of friends while here
I made a lot of friends working at camp America but I still chose a better job when I came back
I believe that he said he wanted to come but Occam's razor has got to come into play here

Giles wants to come back.
I really don't see an issue here.
GIVE ME GILES DAMMNIT
Does he really though?
I think people are reading a lot into Giles potentially being open to coming back against potentially choosing a better option.

On top of his assists, he also averaged 1.9 key passes ( a pass leading to a chance) a game. The next closest was jones and Archer on 1.2. He made 88 across the season and the next closest is 51.
He was the main creative force in the team by almost double. But yeah, no big loss.
He wasn't our player, panicking about him going somewhere else or deciding he is irreplaceable is pointless. He was very good for us and obviously we would have loved to keep him but sides in better positions than us were always likely to come in. It's a similar situation to Tav but one we had even less control over.
It is not inaccurate to say he could have been a lot better defensively as well and for the chances created we still couldn't break down Coventry when it mattered. We should absolutely be looking at how we create more chances from general play across the side, which hopefully is being worked on in pre season

Or maybe you'd think he was responsible for double figure assists from LB.
He was also on loan, so always likely to leave afterwards

The weird thing isn't about whether he suits their style of play, it's that they already have someone who is arguably just as good, if not a slightly better all around player in doughty
Maybe we should put a bid in for him

And a mighty 1 assist since we signed him. There's a player in there but I've been pretty underwhelmed with him. Reckon we would've gone up had howson not been injured
He's hardly played to be fair, it's not easy to make an impact in a successful side but he had a great first half to the season and that can't be ignored

We should sign that Dan Barlaser, he only had one less goal contribution than Giles in 8 less games.

They will be playing there next season but there is no way Luton are considered a Premier League side!
(Not saying we are.. just that Luton arent)
Let's word it differently then
Why would a player choose us over playing in the Premier League? Giles absolutely would either stay at Wolves or go to Luton if he's being guaranteed games in the top flight, everyone would

The phrase ‘blowing us out the water’ is a bit dramatic ain’t it for a £5m deal
Why are we still pretending any player in their right mind would choose us over a Premier League side?

Don’t pay £5million for a guy capable of the highest assists in the division? That could help us achieve promotion? That will in turn mean a guaranteed income of around £180 million.
See your point….
Is Jack Clarke available for £5m?

What about all the cash we got from Spence and Tav last year. Most of that went unspent.
