  1. I actually have no issue with it, the snippets managers and chairmen give tends to do nothing but offer opportunity find fault if they dont deliver on exactly what fans have decided the snippets have meant. Look how long smash the league was used as a stick to beat the chairmans ambition with
  2. I find it absolutely mad how fanbases decide not only officials but the TV broadcast missed an apparent blatant red from Coburn, yeah jumps into him but considering it turned into a melee sky barely even reviewed it
  3. We weren't much better second half but I am mean average kinda guy or a median average if I'm feeling jazzy
  4. I mean he can literally only perform against the players in front of him and they'd won 4 games in a row in the league and still sit in 7th on the same points as Sunderland, you could argue he wasnt hugely tested but he did well with what he had to deal with. One of Cardiff's win was against Sunderland too
  5. Maybe we are neither great or awful but indeed we are just pretty okay.. That is my insight and you are all welcome
  6. Thanks for that Wilson, that's really interesting. I attended a meeting a few years back and you can see the fans involved are doing it for all the best reasons. I did worry the club were doing it for optics at best but I am glad you felt there was consideration and compromise from the club even if it's not at the pace or scale we would like especially with ticketing. I get the frustration though and ultimately the club will do what they think is best
  7. Do those involved currently or previously involved in the MSF think its working and representing fans? I understand its a difficult one to answer if you are still a member but from the outside the club and fans couldnt feel much further apart when it comes to ticketing, communication and generally most things. You do see some good things in terms of food bank collections but beyond that not much
  8. I don't think he has a choice, the days of manager led transfers are over (for now at least) Also JLS is a big NAH from me
  9. The United ones would have been loans though which we found last year was a problem, as you were starting again once they went back to their parent club. Also by and large they've gone to better clubs than us, his name alone wouldn't have got them to come The recruitment model is there for a reason too and he will have final say but he clearly signed up for a project where they worked as a team, getting away from the likes of Warnock who made their own signings
  10. Just highlights how utterly fickle and soulless football has become, we just want quick success and then onto the next one. No patience, no understanding. He literally missed two chances Has it always been like this and I just had rose tinted glasses?
  11. I think we possibly never got to see Carrick struggle to get a handle on championship football because it clicked so quick but this may be it. He looks to be struggling to find a settled line up, tactics seem off and we are just wide open. Recruitment have got it wrong too by not getting experience in, even if it was loans/frees because Engel, Rogers and Silvera look like they'll need months to hopefully get up to speed. Hopefully Bangura, Greenwood and O'Brien can show a lot more. Relying solely on Lath is madness too. I don't even think we had to ambitious or spend a lot we just needed
  12. Alas it's Carrick who keeps picking Silvera over McGree and has started Rogers every game, also the change in tactics to inverted wingers to make us even narrower is lunacy. There are lots of people to blame for this bad start, lots of question marks of management, Scott and recruitment. It's certainly not all on one element but a litany of errors and misjudgement
  13. No matter how many times you say it, no one believes that Giles and Akpom wanted to come here over a prem move and Ajax
  14. We all know it's rubbish but you can't write them off as not championship quality from 5 games, less for some of them. That just excuses bigger problems
  15. That's what we need to figure out but it's certainly not what we are currently doing
  16. It's not a great squad though, it's cheaply assembled and no big names but they play to their strengths. We need to start doing that again
  17. Anyone watching us can see it's not that simple, there are much worse squads than ours winning games. Preston are right at the top
  18. We just have to hope it clicks again but we can't keep sacking managers, we just don't know our best players and we are not even hard to play against. I am sure we at least used to press a bit but it's all so easy now and the coaching team look like they don't know the answer. I don't think the players are that bad either but maybe need to take those that are struggling put of the side, namely Engel and Silvera
  19. Ultimately we have to question what is happening on the pitch and Carrick is clearly struggling. We don't press, out of possession our organisation is horrendous and he continues not to pick arguably our best and most proven attacking player. I am in no shape or form calling for him to leave but I am absolutely calling for him and his coaching team to improve because it's not good enough against frankly the easiest opponents we will get this season. Mowbray is getting much more out of a lesser squad, as are most of the league
  20. I do get your point but what then is the solution? We can't force the owner out
