  1. Hi, I've got a spare adult Hull ticket for sale. £21.50. Face Value. Collect local in Middlesbrough. Alternatively, can meet outside ground before Swansea game on Saturday too 😀
  2. Cause he's *** and we're trying to offload him with the MLS transfer market being open.
  3. I hope he doesn't. He can't play football very well.
  4. Matthew Hoppe will take his place.
  5. Not got the mobility McGree has. I think he's just an option. I hope McGree signs a new deal but he's ambitious and this is his third season and we bottled playoffs under Wilder and pretty much bottled them last season and might not make them this season. 3 seasons out of 1. He might be thinking about leaving.
  6. Squad depth and an option. If we keep Rogers and everyones fit he still doesn't start it would be McGree / Rogers / Jones or Forss then Lath or Forss
  7. So it seems we're holding out for £12m upfront rising to £15m with addons. The club is being very sensible.
  8. How so? Please enlighten me. ❌ Pace ❌ Mobility ❌ Aggression ❌ Physicality ❌ Good on the ball What team would buy Dael Fry? No Premier League team is going to want him. He'd get murdered week in week out in the top flight. Then in the Championship who would spend the £3m-£4m we'd want for him? When you can get better deals and players elsewhere. We should have cashed in on him in 2016/2017 when there was interest in him. Football's changed so much in the last few years and players like Fry aren't sought after anymore. Peoples opinions of him ar
  9. cause he's crap. If Lenihan was fit, then I'd expect him to be on the bench. No mobility, no pace, no aggression, no physicality and quite poor on the ball. Gets bullied time and time again, stands off players far too much. Doubt he'll be sold, cant see anyone wanting to buy him. I expect him to remain at Middlesbrough his entire career.
  10. It is random. But it's plausible because Lath played for the same team last season so we may have watched him at the same time.
  11. Fair enough, some aren't first time crosses but that's all he's good at is crossing and when he was here the majority of our play came down the left hand side. I like Engel and think he's a better all round player than Giles. Giles is amazing at crossing, can't say otherwise but one cost £5m and one is £1.7m. I'm sure if the chance to re-sign Giles came about at a sensible price we may go for him and try him LM but we can't afford to be spending £5m on a left-back. Especially one that is very poor defensively, whilst he offers you so much going forward you can't justify that fe
  12. Engel is better than Giles. All Giles has/had is a first-time cross. It's one hell of a ball he can put across when running onto it. From a dead-ball or taking a touch it's pretty poor as is the rest of his game.
  13. Pretty much. They didn't need him and the manager didn't want him.
  14. difference with that is Conte didn't want him. Spurs just bought him for no reason.
  15. £10m-£12m for Rogers is fair, especially with Manchester City having a 20% sell on clause we'd net between £8m-£9.6m.
  16. Football. I'd also argue that a team in the title race in the Premiership with one of the best coaches out there being interested and bidding for Rogers would also mean Rogers is seen as a much better player by those higher up in football. Rogers has a far greater ceiling than Jones.
  17. Rogers is a much better player than Jones too.
  18. Imagine him in this league hahahaha
  19. I think McGree will sign a new contract with us when he returns from Asia Cup, He's spoken multiple times above loving the club and the area. Azaz I think was bought in now to bed him in this season to replace Crooks or Greenwood next season as one of our options. Crooks was only given a one-year extension on his deal which had one-year left so he's not in the long-term plan. Gilbert & Silvera don't look upto Championship standard either. leaving us with McGree / Rogers / Azaz / Forss / Jones as the concrete options to play across the front-three. You need two for ever
  20. Nothing to do with Fry missing one game and us playing well. For me, Fry's been quite poor for most of this season.
  21. Yeah, it's strange because he did say he wouldn't change his formation or system but has tried out the 3 at the back which worked well. Maybe he's been forced into that formation and system due to injuries and the calibre of the opposition. It's nice that he's willing to change things because we are lacking a Plan B and this could be it.
  22. Yeah, I suppose Fry would just be happy to play for the club. He wouldn't be bothered about being 3rd or 4th choice.
  23. and which PL clubs can you see trying to sign Dael Fry? Luton & Sheffield I can see trying to sign McNair on a free when they return to the Championship in the summer if he doesn't move this window. Let's assume 3 out of Leicester, Southampton, Leeds & Ipswich are the newly promoted teams. I can't see any of them wanting Fry. After that you'd be looking at teams in the bottom 6 or so of the Prem which would leave Palace, Forest, Brentford and Everton. I can't see any of them wanting Fry either. He's not an attractive signing for a Premier League club. He's 26, turni
  24. If we're looking at signing Cresswell on a permanent basis, which it appears we are then I think we'll move on McNair and a second defender. We've been linked with him for three windows which means he's clearly a long-term target for us. Lenihan, Clarke, VDB, Fry & Cresswell, surely we only need four CB's and out of those names Clarke or Fry would be the most likely to move on. Fry did have opportunities to move a few years ago, although for me I feel like he's development has stagnated and his ceiling is a Championship level defender. I'd be amazed if any team pays £3
  25. Yeah cause he's not very good. 1. O'Shea - Republic of Ireland international signed by a Premier League club. 2. Can't comment on Trusty, ain't seen enough of him but probably a signing they can keep when they come down. Being at Arsenal and left-footed will have helped his value. 3. Luton are a club looking for a bargain and are trying to build a very good Championship squad for when they go down. 4. Omobamidele is highly-rated, another international footballer and is 21 years-old, paying for potential and the future. Fry isn't good on the ball, has little to no pace
