  1. With Leicester losing at Plymouth & if it stays like it'll be bouncing come kickoff at Ipswich, imagine if we were to score early, wow
  2. Since he nearly scored on his debut under Wilder but since although hes winning headers in the opposition box during setplay he's not really tested the keeper Could tomorrow be the one?
  3. If one person deserves a goal its Clarke, he's been fantastic for us since coming back from injury
  4. Yea I was at the 4-0 thrashing Hammy, DA was on fire that day, we couldn't live with him, a result at such a crucial time could have ruined our automatic chances but set us back one week when we won again, only to fail as we all know in the final game
  5. Haha, be nice if Leeds miss out, so close with all 3 teams then one slip up will be so costly at such a vital time
  6. We must go in a confident mood, especially with ELL in a scoring mood
  7. Greenwood will 100% start due to him not been available when Leeds come to the Boro next week
  8. Never listen to the media conferences TBH,Michael Carrick is very good at keeping his cards close to his chest & rightly so, you don't really learn anything so with not holding one, IMHO, fans aren't missing much
  9. Imagine if we score early, the older fans will be thinking back to 1981 when we won & Villa won the first division On a serious note, we have nothing to lose, we should go there totally relaxed, I'm looking forward to the game & hoping we continue our unbeaten run
  10. Boro legend Mogga who played for & managed both clubs, though only as Caretaker at Ipswich. Scored his final Boro goal at home to Ipswich in a 1-1 draw back in March 1990
  11. Only 2 away penalties v Ipswich Town – both by the same Boro iconic legend 16/12/1967 – John Hickton became the 43rd different penalty goalscorer when he scored our 69th away spot kick, won 2-1 27/9/1975 - John Hickton scored our 69th away spot kick, won 3-0
  12. Bit more relaxing game & as usual a game that maybe not as important as the Hull game but neverless a game I want us to win, would be good to see us remain unbeaten for the remainder of the season, maybe not a PO spot but when you think think the atmosphere after the poor loss away to Stoke to our remarkable run of form & IRC top form team 2-1 to the Boro
  13. Yes I can agree with all that, Ipswich after been at the top all season will fail in the playoffs, sadly but football hard to accept, theyve had a great couple of seasons after stuck in the first division for a few years
  14. Had another very good game tonight, would be happy to see him signed permanently, but please don't do that again going down as if headbutten, its wrong & embarrassing
  15. No win in the first seven games, poor results against teams in the league, Rotherham, Stoke, Pymouth, beat those & we're in the top 6 A good end to the season as, along with Leeds, form teams of the league, so credit to Boro as after the Stoke game all loked dead & buried. At the end of the day we just havent been good enough
  16. I thought he was fantastic in the second half v Shef Weds but for me he's again a passanger
  17. Its not only getting the ball but keeping possession, 5 minutes after we took the lead Hull just took over & gathered pace, when we do actually go forward our atrack just peppers out We fortunatly kept them at bay but buckled in the end
  18. We're lucky to still be in the game Hopefully we make Hul pay for their missed chances
  19. No doubt if Glover had done it wed havevhad a neltdown on here
  20. What a ball from hopefully player of the month to Engel, first time to ELL who with a tight angel scored his 13th of the season
  21. Would like to see him commit & TBH, like Carrick I think he will
  22. Boro faced F.C Basle in the UEFA cup quarter finals at the Riverside, Boro trailing 2-0 from the 1st leg away in Switzerland We face a tricky task in the home return leg & a message from Steve McClaren ringing in their ears as they leave the dressing room, "keep calm, wait for an opening & strike, do not, I repeat, do not concede 1st or the tie is over", right boss they shout back Well infront of the TV cameras we did just that, conceded 1st, making the worst possible start imaginable, a goal down so early on the night & now 3-0 down on aggregate, we now needed FOUR goals
