All I can say is thank goodness for that purple patch. Because looking at the game today it was difficult to see who was in the relegation zone. This nothing to play for BS does my head in. What about pride? What about the fans? Especially the traveling fans. We are atrocious at the moment. Absolutely atrocious. We are Boro. Nothing special. And after 55+ years of following the club I have only seen a glimmer of the club we could be (possibly). That was during the Robson era. But it cost us massive in terms of funding and I don't see us ever reaching those heights again. We are a bang average club. However. Expecting a draw for this one. They gave Forrest a tough time in the cup. I think Carrick will experiment somewhat for the remainder of the season. I can't see us making the play offs (maybe scrape into 6th but personally I doubt it). We are in no danger of getting relegated. So why not take the opportunity to shuffle a little bit and check options now that we have players returning? Anyway. 1-1.
