  1. @Downsouth will I put up the Rotherham thread when it’s done or wait to see if it’s cancelled? If it is cancelled do I do Sheff Wed or does the thread move on to the next person? Cheers
  2. Brum v The Boro 19th December 2020 Kick Off: 15.00 Location: St Andrew's Stadium "Oh, Aitor Karanka..." This Saturday afternoon, the mighty Middlesbrough take a trip 177 miles down the road to meet Aitor Karanka's Birmingham City. At the start of the season, some of us watched with jealousy as our hero of a former manager took the helm at Brum. I presumed he'd instantly mould a team to challenge for the promotion places and I'd be watching Birmingham keeping it tight at the back, winning by fine margins with the occasional out classing of opponents. I thought I would be jea
  3. The Boro v The Hatters 16th December 2020 Kick Off: 19.00 Location: Fortress Riverside "A repeat of the final game at Awesome Park" Wednesday evening sees Middlesbrough host hat obsessed Luton Town at the Cellnet Riverside Stadium. The teams meet on the back of 3-0 victories with Middlesbrough having dispatched the Lions of Millwall, racing to victory with a trio of goals scored in the fastest time since netting 3 in 16 minutes against Bolton Wanderers in 1965. The Boro went on to win 5-2 that day. Saturday's game saw us swiftly tame and then toy with the Lions throughout t
  4. Middlesbrough V Millwall 12th December 2020 Kick off: 15:00 Location: The Cellnet "The great battle of the teams with a Lion on the badge" This Saturday sees the Neil Warnock's Warriors return home following a sorry defeat on the road at Deepdale. Preston made Warnock's Warriors look lame. Less said about that the better I think. Millwall visit the Cellnet on a 9 match winless run which includes three losses and an impressive November where they either drew 1-1 or 0-0. Fingers crossed we can make that a 10 game winless streak for them and rediscover some of the fight
  5. No problem. Sorry, thought I did accept pm’s. Will have a look at settings...
  6. Cracking OP! I’m saying the ball is K3. Judging by the keepers face, there’s three balls in that square... Don’t know why, but I predicted 0-3 to us on the super6... The more I think about it, the less optimistic I get. So I’ve stopped thinking about it. UTB
  7. You might be right! I just presumed that it was applied as anyone out on loan until the end of the season would be unavailable to the parent team, until the end of the season.
  8. Re: Bola. A few people have mentioned the Warnock clearly didn’t fancy him as he never made a squad, but wasn’t it the case that he couldn’t play because he’d been on loan in league one to the end of the season so was “unavailable” even though he wasn’t? Doesn’t make him a better player though but I think he’s surely worth another look with a decent manager.
  9. I'd go with: GK: Stoj RB: Spence LB: Coulson CB: Moukoudi CB: Fry CDM: Clayton CDM: Howson AM: Morrison AM: Roberts AM: Tavernier CF: Fletcher Reasons being, We need to attack. Morrison showed he has a great touch and could pick out a pass if he had some movement in front of him. I'd like to think that Roberts, Tav and Fletch could provide that movement. Spence and Coulson provide width. Clayton and Howson provided added metal at the back. 4231 or 424 formation. I could be wrong and people might argue that this selection would ge
  10. Watched online today and listened to tees commentary. First time I think I’ve totally agreed with what Maddo’s analysis. I genuinely though Warnock would save us as I don’t think our squad is as bad as the table suggests (I’m not saying the table is a lie!) But, maybe he won’t have the time he needs to properly assess the squad and use what we’ve actually got effectively. We looked shambolic again today. Why Roberts wasn’t played through the middle with Tav instead of Saville? What was Moukoudi supposed to be doing? Putting him at CB for Friend, Howson in CDM, Shotton at RB would’ve given u
