Middlesbrough v Wigan 4-1 (Forrs, Akpom, Akpom, Akpom)
marvin replied to SmogDane's topic in Match Day Threads 2022/23 Season
1. Describe Michael Carrick's start to being Boro manager, but use exactly 7 words! Promising start and definitely more to come! 2. Write a Haiku poem about your favorite current Boro player! Chuba Akpom is Going to top the score chart And win Golden Boot 3. Are you going to the game? Sadly not, but with the gift of vpn I may be there virtually 4. What's for dinner on Christmas eve? No idea yet. 5. Is Chuba ever going to score again after he has been jinxed with an individual trophy as player of the month somewhere I forgot where was? Se -

marvin replied to Neverbefore's topic in Boro Forum
Would be delighted with Jones but not sure who Iqbal is. Stopped playing fifa so I’m not clued in with the young up and comings anymore. I really think Phil Jones could be one of the leaders we really need to see us through. -
Soz everyone.

Post count for the last game must’ve been effected by the World Cup being on in the evening. We won, England lost so there was more to talk about re. England I guess. Even if England won, there would’ve been more to discus there. Just the timing of the game?

That’s what it was called before it was built

Not when it’s a “ramble” before the rest of the nonsense…

PRERAMBLE Fixture 23 of this Chamionship season sees Carrick’s Crusaders* visit Happy Place Turf Moor and test themselves agains Vincent Kompamy’s league leaders Burnley. Burnley have won more games so far this season than they managed in each of the previous two seasons in their entireties so they must be doing something right. Sean Dyche’s exit after 10 years at the helm needs no further discussion here. Safe to say, things look to have eventually turned out alright for us so far! US We find ourselves playing Burnley four games deep into our 28 game winning streak. This

Missing the ‘P’ is the least of my worries. I did the whole thing with the wrong date! And, the missing ‘P’ was a mistake I liked, so I left it. -

WHO: MIDDLESBROUGH V LUTON WHAT: CHAMIONSHIP FIXTURE WHERE: STADE DE RIVERSIDE WHEN: SATURDAY 10th DECEMBER 2022, 15:00 WHY: WHY NOT US: 28 days since last winning a Championship match, Luton are the next team to face Carrick’s Crusaders. King Carrick has delivered 10 out of a possible 15 points with a defeat, a draw and three victories since he arrived. Chuba Akpom should be fresh as a Daisy and raring to once again prove the doubters wrong, after his shock omission from Gareth Southgate’s World Cup winning squad. Riley McGree was outstanding for Australia and mi

I’m convinced we’re going to smash them today. Just got a ridiculously good feeling about it. I’ve been burned by my optimism before, so should know better. But I can’t help being proper excited about it. -

THE YOYO CANARIES V MICHAEL CARRICK'S MARVELOUS MIDDLESBROURGH Saturday 12th November 2022 Kick off: 15:00 Location: A Canary Cage? Hello again... Well, well, well… who would have predicted we’d go to Blackpool and win? Everyone, obviously. A few weeks ago that Blackpool game had an inevitable defeat written all over it. What with Blackpool’s injury woes and two defeats in a row, there would’ve never been a better time for them to avoid a third loss than by playing “Typical Boro.” Carrick Crusaders will become Conquerors. We are rising from the as

Really enjoying this performance from the Netherlands region of Northumberland (cough…vpn…) We need to put some of them chances away though. Could’ve been well out of site by now.
