  1. -------------------Randolf Spence Shotton Fry Flint Coulson ---------Howson‐---Saville Fletcher-----Wing-------Tavernier ------------Assombolonga
  2. What the hell does Britt need to do to get in this team!? Far more excited by a Bamford/Assombolonga pairing than Bamford gestede. More mobile
  3. I've had enough now. Honestly has Monk convinced anyone at all he is the right man? 40m spent, same mistakes every week, one of the most solid defences in the top 2 divisions now a shambles. Whats his tactics or formation? 6 different players tried on the left and still no further forward. Hate to say it lads but #Monkout for me
  4. admittedly i'm not the biggest Leadbitter fan, but the only real criticism I have of him is his lack of pace.
  5. Agreed, was the first thing i'd thought when I watched it
  6. I've had enough of hearing excuses about the team needing time to gel. How can you play football from a young child, through academy and into adulthood, train 4/5 days a week with the other players in your team (some for 6-8 weeks plus) and you not know their strengths by now? Next league game we need a big result now. No more excuses. By the look today Britt & Bamford let the flack from Forest fans get to them and bottled it. Hoping Britt and Bamford come out looking to prove a point , Forshaw is dropped and either Baker/Traore start. Like has been previously said 3 central midfielders just isn't working. Heard a bit of hype about Howson as supposedly the best midfielder in the division when we bought him, so far for me he's pretty average, not stood out in any game so far. UTFB!
  7. just been on the Forest forum and what a bunch of condescending *** some of their fans are. Picking out quotes off our forums by the odd idiot who can't spell and puts 'like' at the end of every sentence. "Surprised they have internet in Boro", apparently we "haven't invented steam power" yet. "We paid off the ref" etc. Didn't mind Forest before, now, I can't stand them. Hope they lose key players to injury get relegated and get a kicking when they come up our way!
  8. We asked Football.London's Sam Inkersole. "Fletcher is a very hard worker who won't stop running all game. From what we saw of him in his first season, he's very much a number nine and likes the ball at his feet. He thrives in a central role" What about Fletcher in the center? (Dele Alli style box to box) ------------Assombolonga--------- Braithwaite--Fletcher-----Traore ---------Howson----De-Roon----- Friend---Gibson----Ayala--Christie --------------Randolph
  9. Who is the guy second from left? Nathan McGinley
  10. Marco Silva has resigned from Hull. I wouldn't mind a punt on him tbh, he turned a lackluster Hull into a team that won a fair few games and played good football. When he took over relegation looked certain for them anyway. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Managerial career Estoril On 10 June 2011, immediately after retiring, Silva was appointed director of football at Estoril. However, early into the season, he replaced Vinícius Eutrópio as manager,[6] with the Cascais team ranking tenth in the second tier.[7] His first game in charge was a 1–3 defeat at Penafiel,[8] and, after losing only three matches in 24, he helped the club return to the top flight after seven years, as champions.[9] He ultimately was chosen the league's Manager of the Year.[10] Silva made his debut in the Portuguese top division on 17 August 2012, in a 1–2 away defeat to S.C. Olhanense.[11] Estoril overachieved for a second best-ever fifth place in the table, with the subsequent qualification to the UEFA Europa League, also a first. Highlights included not losing any of the games against Sporting Clube de Portugal (3–1 at home, 2–2 away[12]), and drawing at S.L. Benfica 1–1.[13] On 23 February 2014, Estoril achieved an historic first time win at the Estádio do Dragão, the 1–0 victory being FC Porto's first home defeat since the 2–3 against Leixões S.C. in 2008.[14] He left his position on 12 May, after leading his team to the fourth position.[15] Sporting Silva agreed to a four-year contract with Sporting on 21 May 2014, replacing Leonardo Jardim who left for AS Monaco FC.[16] He led the club to the third place in the championship, also winning the Taça de Portugal by beating S.C. Braga 3–1 on penalties after a 2–2 draw in the final.[17] This was Sporting's first piece of silverware since the 2008 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. On 4 June 2015, four days after winning the trophy, Sporting announced that Silva had been sacked with just cause, for not wearing the club's official suit in a cup match against F.C. Vizela. Olympiacos On 8 July 2015, Silva was appointed the successor of countryman Vítor Pereira at Olympiacos FC, signing on a two-year contract.[21] His first competitive game occurred in the season opener in the Superleague Greece, won 3–0 against Panionios FC. On 17 September, he played his first UEFA Champions League match with his new club, losing 0–3 at home to FC Bayern Munich.[22] Silva subsequently guided the team to break the record of 11 consecutive league wins from the first matchday, also recording a 3–2 success at ***nal in the Champions League group stage. The Piraeus side's run of domestic wins ended at 17, a European record in the 21st century, but they nonetheless won a record 43rd title with six games remaining. Silva quit his job on 23 June 2016, alleging personal reasons" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not a bad CV http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40043130
  11. I think Ayala, Espinosa, Fry (if Gibson is still here next season) is enough at championship level. Would like to see Fry push on and get more games. Fry has the stature to grow into a beast of a defender, he just needs to work on his composure. IMO a season working with Ayala and Gibson will do him the world of good. As it did when Gibson improved when he played more regularly with Ayala. Don't forget that Harry Chapman and Dael Fry are currently away for England, in an U20 world tournament (& we have a very strong squad). IMO will do them some confidence if England do well. Which is only good for a crack at the 1st team. We play Argentina first game is this saturday.
  12. Would love to see this team given a go at some point pre season: ------------------------Ripley---------------------- Fabio-------Fry--------Gibson------Friend -----------De Roon------Clayton-------- Traore------------------------------Chapman ----------------Cooke---------------------- ----------------------------Bamford
  13. He has a bit of Tomlin about him, obviously quicker but the way he moves and dribbles looks alot like Tomlin. Definately worth a punt for £300,000, he surely has sell on value too. Great left foot, Downing could be a good tutor
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p052mq79 Friends full interview. Interesting comments on the dressing room...
