  2. What the hell does Britt need to do to get in this team!? Far more excited by a Bamford/Assombolonga pairing than Bamford gestede. More mobile
  3. I've had enough now. Honestly has Monk convinced anyone at all he is the right man? 40m spent, same mistakes every week, one of the most solid defences in the top 2 divisions now a shambles. Whats his tactics or formation? 6 different players tried on the left and still no further forward. Hate to say it lads but #Monkout for me
  4. admittedly i'm not the biggest Leadbitter fan, but the only real criticism I have of him is his lack of pace.
  5. Agreed, was the first thing i'd thought when I watched it
  6. I've had enough of hearing excuses about the team needing time to gel. How can you play football from a young child, through academy and into adulthood, train 4/5 days a week with the other players in your team (some for 6-8 weeks plus) and you not know their strengths by now? Next league game we need a big result now. No more excuses. By the look today Britt & Bamford let the flack from Forest fans get to them and bottled it. Hoping Britt and Bamford come out looking to prove a point , Forshaw is dropped and either Baker/Traore start. Like has been previously said 3 central midf
  7. just been on the Forest forum and what a bunch of condescending *** some of their fans are. Picking out quotes off our forums by the odd idiot who can't spell and puts 'like' at the end of every sentence. "Surprised they have internet in Boro", apparently we "haven't invented steam power" yet. "We paid off the ref" etc. Didn't mind Forest before, now, I can't stand them. Hope they lose key players to injury get relegated and get a kicking when they come up our way!
  8. We asked Football.London's Sam Inkersole. "Fletcher is a very hard worker who won't stop running all game. From what we saw of him in his first season, he's very much a number nine and likes the ball at his feet. He thrives in a central role" What about Fletcher in the center? 9. Who is the guy second from left? Nathan McGinley
  10. Marco Silva has resigned from Hull. I wouldn't mind a punt on him tbh, he turned a lackluster Hull into a team that won a fair few games and played good football. When he took over relegation looked certain for them anyway. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Managerial career Estoril On 10 June 2011, immediately after retiring, Silva was appointed director of football at Estoril. However, early into the season, he replaced Vinícius Eutrópio as manager,[6] with the Cascais team ran
  11. I think Ayala, Espinosa, Fry (if Gibson is still here next season) is enough at championship level. Would like to see Fry push on and get more games. Fry has the stature to grow into a beast of a defender, he just needs to work on his composure. IMO a season working with Ayala and Gibson will do him the world of good. As it did when Gibson improved when he played more regularly with Ayala. Don't forget that Harry Chapman and Dael Fry are currently away for England, in an U20 world tournament (& we have a very strong squad). IMO will do them some confidence if England do well. Which is
  12. Would love to see this team given a go at some point pre season: ------------------------Ripley---------------------- Fabio-------Fry--------Gibson------Friend -----------De Roon------Clayton-------- Traore------------------------------Chapman ----------------Cooke---------------------- ----------------------------Bamford
  13. He has a bit of Tomlin about him, obviously quicker but the way he moves and dribbles looks alot like Tomlin. Definately worth a punt for £300,000, he surely has sell on value too. Great left foot, Downing could be a good tutor

  16. It's very likely we are going down but I'd rather cling to the hope we somehow pick up 6/7 points from Chelsea, Liverpool and Southampton. A tall order....yes. Impossible....No Cmon Lads not over until the fat lady sings UTFB
  17. I thought Gibson was fantastic the one top player we had Gibson has came through almost every game with credit. He is one of the most reliable defenders i've seen in a Boro shirt. If he isn't in the England squad it's an utter travesty. Irrespective of where Boro finish this season, surely we will sell when bids come in 25m-40m mark. Good to see young Fry getting premier league experience, he seems to have decent pace for a centre back, loads of room for improvement and has the raw materials needed to develop. Have high hopes for that lad. Also have high hopes on Harry Chapman, hop
  18. What a load of tosh. Have to agree with Will here. When hasn't he set the world alight when given the service? I can only remember ***nal away when he was one on one with Cech? He's shown this season that he can do the business if provided with the right service (Leicester, Swansea et al). To be fair to him, he's doing well at the job he has been asked to do. I'm also pretty sure that he has been involved in a rather large percentage of our goals. Haha aye maybe I was being a bit harsh. But I still don't get all the love for him, I think sometimes he just appears a bit lazy to
  19. Adama Traore is one of the most talented yet frustrating players i've ever seen! Given he has such pace, why does he never seem to make runs forward to create space? His give and go play is almost non existent. Off the ball my 6 yr old seems to read the game better than he does. When he isn't on the ball he seems to walk about the pitch pointing! Not sure if that 100% down to him or poor coaching tho. Seen varying estimates of his value, what do you lot think he is worth now?? Me 10m max
  20. Prowler --------------- Valdes ------------- ----Barragan-Bernardo-Gibson--^ De Roon -----Clayton ---^-----Fabio ----Traore-------------Downing--V ----------Stuani---Negredo Sack it, go for it, De Roon RB/WB?? Why not he's definately got the energy for it, if Whitehead worked so can De Roon. That's more of a "bend over and take it" line up. We cannot play 3 at the back. Dont remember Karanka even trying it this season? you seen something I havent? The formation has Fabio Drop back and De roon can move inside to help clayts, as can Downing (352-> 442/433). Keep Tr

  22. Potential for around 62-3m in player sales and parachute payments will see us get some decent signings I think. gk Ripley/Dimi rb Fabio/?? cb Espinosa/Ayala/Fry/?? lb Friend/??? rw Chapman/?? cm Leadbitter/Clayts/Forshaw/De Sart acm: Guediora/?? lw Downing/??? Forwards: Bamford/Gestede/?? will need another RB, CB, LB, RW, LW, ACM at least 6 signings imo
