  1. Looks like I am going after all, should be a good'un!
  2. I'm trying to sort out going but my mates are useless and I probably won't end up going!
  3. I think you mean Robert Lemontopski...
  4. Some train tickets do have times on them, it's a good way of keeping the cost of the ticket down, I do this for all home games. Who are you by the way, I haven't seen Somerset boro before?

    Mogga Poll

Well then a poll should be added to that thread, this thread is pointless if you can't even talk about the manager. Edit: my comment was explaining why i would have voted the way I said I would, like stated in the OP

    Mogga Poll

This is ridiculous, it is a thread about whether we should sack our manager or not, I don't care if it has a poll in it or not at the end of the day it is a thread about the manager so the manager should be discussed.

    Mogga Poll

I'm also on my phone so can't vote at the moment, but I think people do need a bit of perspective Wigan who everyone thought would walk the league are only 2 points above us, Bolton who were fancied for at least a playoff spot this year are 4 points behind us. We have also only lost 3 games so far this season, 2 of which were against teams I would say are nailed on for at least the playoffs.
  8. I wouldn't have thought so. For one thing most students are only really interested in getting drunk and getting laid. For another, booze at the student union is probably a lot cheaper than at the Riverside (it was when I was there). ;) I managed to go to a man utd game in the champions league the other week for cheaper than an adult ticket at boro, they sold over 1,000 at our student union.

    Loan Window

With kamara now living with him does anyone think that hoyte may have changed his mind about moving?

As long as Gibbo doesn't drop down the pecking order That would have to be a guarentee for me.

    Loan Window

Liverpool, Swansea and west brom all wanted him on a season long loan apparently, seems like he would be a good signing.
  12. He reminded me of jack wilshere yesterday, not afraid to run at defenders and has the confidence that he can pass or beat the player himself, an outstanding performance from a player that is quickly growing on me.
  13. Scott Wilson has been wrong with pretty much everything he's predicted about boro recently.
  14. I've got plenty of perspective. I'm not thrilled with our start to the season or the second half of the last one but we won well today and deservedly so. One win isn't going to save a manager's job. We will need to back that win up with further wins and good performances. Clearly we aren't in relegation form as we're in 15th position. I would suggest that it's you that needs the perspective at the moment. if we lost today he would have been sacked, so this has saved his job!! Any evidence of this? Seems like just speculation, I understand that you don't rate mogga and we'll neve
  15. Some match ratings for everyone: Steele - 5 I thought he should have done a lot better with their goal. There was also a few times he came to claim the ball, completely flapped at it and we were lucky to not concede. One of his poorest games I've seen. Richardson - 7 Was reasonably tidy in defence and didn't see him make any glaring errors, a few missed passes but overall I think he had a decent game. Williams - 4 Absolutely awful for the first goal, I still can't figure out what the hell he was thinking! After the goal he improved but it was a pretty poor performance overall f

    Goodbye...

I'm taking a break from the forum for a while, I've been thinking about it for a while as the style of this forum has changed massively since I joined and not for the better. Having been personally attacked by another member last night it was just brushed off by a mod as a disagreement, in my opinion this is unacceptable and I'm sure if a new member had criticised a senior member like that then the retribution handed out would have been very different. So it's goodbye from me for a while, I will still check in every now and again to see if any things changed but no contribution from me f
  17. Oh well, with all the putting down you apparently do I figured it was a good guess ;) I think some people believe they do know what the divide is about as they're being told the reasons by some of the players involved. I don't have a clue whether this is the truth or not but clearly if players are saying this then they would have no reason not to believe it. That information was also not available to me when I made my first comment. I understand now about the vet comment :D
  18. What you say is fair enough unless Mowbray is part of the reason for the disagreement/divide, which I think some people are suggesting. By any chance, are you a Vet? No I'm not a vet :s That is the situation I was talking about, and I dont think i made it clear enough, none of us know what the divide in the dressing room is about and whether or not Mowbray has anything to do with it. If the divide is not over something Mowbray has done then how is it in any way his fault?
  19. You're an agitator, you put other's down and seek to push your own vies as being more relevant....you also don't respond well to constructive criticism, recently you got annoyed with Chimpy's view on something and docked him a rep point - a mod had to step in and sort things out, not for the first time. There's an example I got annoyed with chimpy posting antagonistic comments, not his opinion, and he actually apologised for the situation so that's a terrible example. I also don't think my views are more relevant than anyone else's, once again please find an example of this. In ref
  20. You're criticising me for responding to threads in a way that I think is 'right'? As opposed to what? Responding in a way I think is wrong? I see you didn't give any examples, strange that.
  21. Coming from the person who just said " It's all pretty simple which you'll find out if you ever become any sort of manager in any sort of job" When you have absolutely no ***ing idea what I do in life? You presumptuous ***! I rely on putting others down? Can you quote some situations where I have "relied" on putting someone down on this forum? If not I'd appreciate it if you retract your statement.
  22. If the dressing room is split and players don't like each other then no manager will change that. The players need to put it aside and act like professionals, they bloody well get payed enough to be able to put little niggles behind them. Yes,I do Will. Mowbray has been manager for 3 years and, if the team is divided, then it's his fault. It's all pretty simple which you'll find out if you ever become any sort of manager in any sort of job :) Wow, that was extremely condescending. Just because he has been manager for three years this doesn't mean that it's his fault the squad is d
  23. Go for it, I won't criticise you for posting something you've heard, but I also won't take it as fact.
  24. "If they're divided then it's due to the present manager" Do you have anything to back this up as it seems like a huge assumption on your part?
