  1. Both goals are the same issue from Lenihan, he's far too far off his man and makes no attempt (or far too late of an attempt) to close that gap. Yes, Berge's is a very good finish but it was far too easy for him to create the space to get that shot away. As for the Brewster chance, I think it's both him and Akpom's fault having watched it back, Akpom appears to be calling for it and is definitely showing for it when he really shouldn't be if he could see the whole picture around him, and Lenihan who can see that makes a bad decision to play the ball into him.
  2. In this one game. As CT pointed out earlier in the thread, Fry actually had a much better passing accuracy over the course of last season than Lenihan did (76.6% to Lenihan's 65.8%). Over the course of their careers their passing accuracy is extremely similar (70.6% for Fry, 71.2% for Lenihan). So let's stop this ridiculous notion than Lenihan is like a prime Beckenbauer compared to Fry, shall we?
  3. I doubt we go higher, three bids seems like you'd probably be at your maximum. What I could see is a potential restructuring of the same bid, moving some more money up front or whatever.
  4. I think Digger was told what he put on here, I just don't think it did actually happen.
  5. Again I feel the need to reiterate that it's extremely possible (probable imo) that this didn't happen.
  6. It picked up almost immediately after he came on tbf. Our halftime to 61 minutes possession was 52% as I said, stretch that to 70 minutes it's already up to 55%.
  7. I see we're just ignoring the fact we had less possession with Lenihan there than Fry until we made other changes. Cool.
  8. If you've got the time period you want to know I can tell you. Up until the point Mowatt came on we'd dropped to something like 52% for the second half, after he came on it rose to 63% or so for the rest of the game.
  9. As I said in my post just abovd, up until Mowatt coming on possession was actually lower in the second half. Hard to put the improvement down to Lenihan when it got worse for 15 minutes prior to Mowatt coming on.
  10. Possession was pretty much identical half to half. Was slightly lower in the second half before Mowatt came on, then it was slightly higher than the first half.
  11. You are the one acting butthurt because people disagree with your view, mate. He's getting justified criticism because he's played a big part in a number of goals we've conceded, you might not want to acknowledge that but people who do don't hate him.
  12. I reckon the guy brought in as the communicator should've told him he had loads of time to deal with it...
  13. Completely agree on Fry and the defence. Apparently Wilder said the change was tactical and because Fry wasn't playing as he wanted, which from what I saw is quite baffling.
  14. Came from a random twitter account and wasn't reported anywhere else at all. Think it was just rubbish
  15. Larsen mentions other clubs as well as us, the interviewer asks which clubs to which Larsen first hesitates then says Italian clubs. He never asks who are the closest.
  16. Yes. I think we're letting both Groningen and Larsen stew on it a bit. Larsen to decide if he's happy to stay or if he's going to kick up a bit of a fuss and Groningen to consider if they want to keep an unhappy player and hope he has a good enough season to still be worth £10m or so next summer.
  17. Think you're right actually, got you mixed up with someone else. Apologies.
  18. I also don't believe that Larsen has been here, that doesn't mean Digger is lying though. He was told something and passed it on in good faith.
  19. Just ban the dissenters imo, eventually we'll have a perfect community.
  20. Worth remembering that any fees for permanent purchases are spread over the duration of the contract for FFP. With Forss and Hoppe both getting 4 year contracts their combined fees will only be around £1m per year, whereas both Tav and Spence go into our accounts immediately as sales (with the added advantage of both having cost us absolutely nothing). If we were to spend all of the money you've laid out obviously incomings and outgoings would be roughly similar for this year, but from an FFP point of view, we'd still post a large net profit on player incomings/outgoings for this year.
