  1. Colourblind as well as stupid, apparently. Colours don't even match the pride flags. Idiots being led into culture war nonsense as a distraction.
  2. What on earth does ""wokefying" or "wokening"" mean? And how does changing a colour relate to being aware of societal issues? Also, I assume you were also outraged in 2011. "Umbro held a deal with England before Nike and designed the kit for Euro 2012 featuring St George's flag in four different colours across the upper back of the shirt in red, blue, green and purple. The idea behind the multi-colour crosses was thought up by designer Peter Saville and Umbro to represent the countries cultural diversity - similar to the sentiment behind Nike's - and was met little to no respo
  3. We going back as far as Boyd Munce? Cool. January 2022. Jones is a third choice keeper we've not seen, Conteh chose to leave and is doing fine, Bangura seems alright, Barlaser had great stats with Rotherham but we play him wrong and Gilbert noone understands. Dismissing Rogers is odd. ELL is scoring at nearly one in two (every 200 minutes) which is solid for a first season with an injury break and in our setup. I note you don't mention McGree, Dieng, Steffen, Archer, Ramsay, Giles, Lenihan, Smith, Clarke, Forss, Azaz. Easy this list making lark. I'd argue last season's t
  4. Yeah, be gutted if we sign any more like Rav or Rogers or even ELL.
  5. Ayling, Jones and Forss can't all be on the right.
  6. We'd need a few more strikers at the club for that.
  7. Has Carrick actually turned a corner, managerially? Based on the last 2 games? Nope. Got lucky in the first with an undeserved red card which completely turned the game. That was heading to a defeat prior to the red. Then we beat a team in the relegation mix. A better performance, but against a poor side. Takes a lot more to show progression then those two results. How much has luck (good or bad) effected this season? Depends on if you think injuries are down to luck, I guess. Think more that our inflexibility in our setup and style of play has cost us more. How
  8. This feels like overkill in response to what I'm guessing is a DMCA type notice. Normal practice is just to respond to the DMCA request and take down the material in question and that's pretty much it. Been a while since I dealt with this stuff, but forums always protected from liability regarding stuff posted by users under the eCommerce Directive, so long as they remove the material ASAP when it's pointed out. It's why Facebook, instagram, twitter etc aren't under an infinite number of copyright claims - they get DMCAed and take stuff down.
  9. A start to what exactly? It's points, gifted by the referee. But it doesnt change our underlying issues, there's nothing learned from the game (other than don't set up with wingbacks and sit back), we showed no sign of being in the game until there red, and come Saturday we're back to square one. 🤷‍♂️
  10. We were terrible up to the sending off. Happy for the three points. Not convinced beating 10 men means we've turned any sort of corner.
  11. You'd hope that if we're set to to give them possession and counter, that we'd actually be counter attacking though.
  12. Off the top my head those scorers include Gyokeres, Akpom, Mitrovic, Piroe, Breton Diaz, Solanke, Toney, Armstrong, Sharp, Gayle. Why can I name them? Because they all had exceptional seasons. They would also cost a fortune to replace after those seasons. Just because there are players who do it regularly, doesn't make it easy to replace them when you lose one. Just because Akpom cost us peanuts, doesn't mean we can pick up a 20 goal a season player for a reasonable fee. Be lovely if we could, obviously. But even then, it's not purely about scoring goals. Akpom's role was more th
  13. Yes, but if your system needs a player in those positions to have a season like Akpom, Archer and Giles had, there's a problem with the system too. That was always going to be unreplaceable, yet we're still here, with the same system, without the necessary adaptation.
  14. I'm fairly indifferent on Scott but that's a fairly selective list, that includes a third choice keeper. McGree, Rogers, VDB, Lenihan, Clarke, Dieng, ELL, Forss, Azaz. Let's say Bangura has promise and add in Hackney and that's a starting 11 that's better than relegation fodder. Then you've got loans for Archer, Ramsay, Giles and Steffen, all arguably a massive part of last season's success. As to the squad, the Lumley, Hall, Sporar, Ikpeazu, etc team may be well forgotten, but we've hardly downgraded from that lot.
  15. It's not a bad run, it's a bad season. And one in which he's shown no sign of learning or changing.
  16. Man's had nearly a full season to adjust to not having the best player in the league scoring 30 goals and has made no real attempt to fix things. Everyone in the land can see the issue with our lack of defensive cover yet we stick with 2 CMs. Every opposition manager knows how to push our playing out yet we do it every time. Random attackers without changing the way we play is not management. If he can only play one system, and that system requires an Akpom to even get to the playoffs, then he's just not that tactically astute. Last season he got lucky. This season he's damn lu
  17. Trash. Playing the same awful system all season long despite it never really working without Akpom and Giles. Carrick refuses, or is unable, to change the setup. No flexibility. No adaptation to the players we have. O'Brien and Barlaser are not a midfield paring that can work as a 2 in this setup.
  18. You're the ITK. So?
