Do we need to rush into selling him? I think the question is how much could we sell him for in the future? Don't get me wrong he has had a difficult season but does this mean we get rid after the first real interest shown in him.

Notts County at home in the play offs 1991! Ref had a shocker and gave everything to them who were a very physical side and put it about!! I remember there was a rumour at the time that he had got a lift home on the County team bus after the game!! Remember Pollock getting brought down in the box at Newcastle late on in 95-96 although Pearson had got away with one on Gillespie earlier in game.

During recent seasons we have been challenging for automatic, play offs or battling against relegation from the Prem and i am all for rotating the team for cup games when there are priorities in the league however i don't see that way for tonight due to the season we are having, Is the Fulham game that vital? I do agree with keeping players fresh but this can be managed across the two games without drastically changing the current team shape and mentality which has been great for the last month.

Surely this is the season where we can put everything into the cup?
