Its seldom i predict a defeat but i think Ipswich will have too much for us tomorrow. Bar the odd game,(Leeds & Norwich in particular) they have been very impressive all season. They have pace, creativity, unbelievable team spirit & most of all, goals throughout the side.
However they can be guilty of "faffing" around at the back so hopefully we can take advantage of that,
2-1 to the Tractor Boys (Jones)

I, unironically, went for Howson. I genuinely think he deserves it.
If we had not had this injury crisis I think there are a few players who would be above him, but everyone has really struggled for consistency this season
Completely Agree, Surely a new contract on the table waiting to be signed✍️

Any Golf fans on here?
I'm not a massive Golf fan but i love the Masters,
Added interest with the "Buster" at the local Golf Club.
I went with
Leading European (Including GB & Ireland)- Hovland
USA- Scheffler
LIV- Rahm
Rest of the World - Matsuyama
Winner would get about €500 so i would take that

I'm delighted with the new practical approach. It's yielding results and after all it's a results business. UTB
I thought you might be missing the "fannying around at the back"

Hopefully we dont see Dieng give another suicidal ball to one of our players sitting outside his own penalty area with opposing players around him
It's not just us though tbf. I was watching the goals as they go in on SSN last night & every second goal came from someone faffing around at the back.
Former players & mangers must be falling around the place laughing at this type of "defending"😬

Paddy-six-touch in cm? No thank you.
Do you prefer Barlasers slick passing to the opposition?

I would like to see Paddy in for Barlaser. Engel for Thomas, Dijks for Ayling.
Will it happen? Probably Not

I think more than that we need a player in midfield who can see danger early and snuff it out. Nearly all our goals against come as a result of us losing the ball and failing to get back into shape quickly enough. A midfielder who covers effectively and is extremely athletic has to be the number one priority. I know you love howson but he ain't that, and neither is anyone else on our books.
I agree we need that type of player but i think it goes beyond that. Its not about 1 player imo.We need a stronger defensive mentality from keeper to centre forward. Not in a Pulis sense but i would love to see players putting their bodies on the line to stop a cross or a shot just for once determined to keep a clean sheet. Mentally we seem very weak & crumble far too often.

I like Carrick but to have lost 15 games out of 33 is nowhere near good enough. Massive rebuild again in the summer. The first signing needed imo is a defensive coach.Far too easy for average teams to score against us.Its gonna be a long few months to the end of the season😔

He picked up an injury pre season & certainly was not at his best at the start of the season i agree. At 35 years old, a pre season is massively important.
However look at the games he missed relatively recently when we looked utterly dire with Barlaser, Hackney(in his worst run of form) & O Brien involved - Bristol City, Rotherham. Plymouth & Stoke,
He comes back into the side & we haven't lost the last 7 or 8.
That's not a coincidence. Anybody who understands football can see his effect on the team. Thankfully Carrick does & Howson starts when fit.
However despite his incredible fitness, he cant last forever, cant play 40 odd games a season & a replacement is a priority very soon.
