Yeah, I am interested to see how this pans out. I listened to CW's interview, and he suggested that he'd be talking to some players tomorrow, basically telling them that they only remained on the field because he had no options with which to replace them on the bench. It didn't sound like it would be very private...sounded like CW had been biting his tongue for a while.

I don't agree that teams have "worked us out". Do we really think that premier league coaches were incapable of working CW out? I think we just didn't have the quality. Up top we are lightweight, no matter who is up there. Coburn is the biggest, but he is just a kid, who isn't fully grown yet. CW's system needs pace on the wings. The only we get it on the left is to put Tav there, which hurts us centrally. I'm not sure what happened to Jones in the last several weeks, but he has looked more like what he is: a young, inexperienced player, playing in the championship for the first time. At the v

Well, this wasn't what I was expecting...I've noticed that we've been physically bullied in the last several games. Most of our players are small, skilled and easily bumped off the ball. Need some "piano movers" as well as the "piano players" we have. Big rebuild needed. Should be an interesting summer...

I agree that Pulis was the worst, and I think you have a fair point about Warnock's sides showing grit and battling. I'm not sure that CW can't motivate the players. I think at the start of CW's tenure, none of us thought we would be anywhere near the play-offs, and the players were playing with less tension. I think things have become more edgy as we have looked more likely to challenge for a play-off spot. Heck, I can even sense that in myself as I am yelling and cursing at misplaced passes etc. I don't know that CW is a "one trick pony". I think most managers set their team up to

Wow! Despite everything, we are still in charge of our own destiny. Big game against Huddersfield...UTB! -
I posted this on the Hull thread, but it makes more sense here: Something else to consider...In the past, teams have loaned players to us, and we responded by putting them on the bench. The consensus among neutrals is that CW is a great manager to develop young players (same with Cooper at Forest). Arsenal see Balogun as a future starter (I think), but he has a lot of developing to do. He could certainly do with at least one more season in the Championship, and I think we would be in prime position to have him again whether we are in the Championship or the Premier League. Just a tho
