Leeds is a massive place so it'll be driven by TV audiences. The least often were on the better for our travelling support. It's a pain in the backside trying to organise transport only for Sky to switch dates and times with minimal notice.
-
The only worry is keeping hold of key performers like Gibson and Friend. If we can do that and Aitor manages to bring in some quality at the other end of the pitch then it'll be an absolutely cracking season with plenty to be enthusiastic about. Loads of reasonably priced northern awaydays with huge allocations, hopefully a few more goals and the buzz around town that only comes when the team is flying high. Enthusiasm levels will be consistently building from now until KO at Preston.
-
Some absolute belting away days next season. MK Dons are a sham of a club though, hopefully they'll face opposition from supporters in the Championship.

132. South Stand on tour.

Against Brighton the team didn't inspire the crowd. Let's hope we come flying out of the blocks tomorrow.

Whilst I've enjoyed reasonably priced awaydays to proper stadiums and towns with plenty of character we really do need to get up to become financially sound. I really worry about how long Gibbo can continue to bankroll the club.

There's lots of people suddenly working this weekend isn't there! Looking forward to a good game and atmosphere me.
-
Yea hopefully it should involve the full South Stand. Will look spectacular if we pull it off!
-
Our supporters group are down the Riverside all week setting up a big display so if your in the South Stand please get to your seat a couple of minutes earlier in order to contribute. Agree with the sentiment above, the team need to know we're 100% behind them going into the playoffs. Let's get the place bouncing.

Couple of pics from the card display versus Rotherham;

Footage from the recent Ipswich game; Hopefully the South Stand will be bouncing for the remaining games. UTB.

I set a personal limit of £30 a few years ago and whilst it does hurt to miss out on trips to the likes of Leeds it's something I feel passionate about. I believe clubs will continue to bleed supporters dry unless we get organised and begin to fight this. Following the recent billion pound TV deal it was great to see lots of ex-pros demand a reduction in ticket prices, time for the fans to voice their concern too.

If anyone's in the Block62 area of the South Stand we'd appreciate it if you could get to your seats a couple of minutes earlier then normal in order to help out with the display/tifo. Can't wait for this one. Huge game. It's as clear as day which areas Tomas needed to improve in and I'd imagine the club staff have been working on this for months now. The lad needs our full support, a few early catches and he'll be full of confidence.

You get a free beer in the Twe12th Man bar after the match if your a season ticket holder. The Red Faction lads have picked some songs so bring your ear defenders.

Same melody. Same player. Jelllllllllle Vossen ole ole ole ole, Ole ole ole ole Ole ole ole ole (Repeat) Heard this sang at Millwall and the last few home games.

Biggest game of the season ?
-
Thanks. We tend to only use our material once but the club are happy for us to do bigger and better displays so we'll definitely be getting more colour into the Riverside. I'm unsure what to make of the Higgy news, pretty certain it'll be discussed by the group once all the details are known. UTB.

Little video from the Blackburn game. Cheers to everyone who helps out in Block 62.

Boro vs Wigan Athletic [A] 1-1
Block53 replied to CFPri25's topic in Match Day Threads 2014/15 Season
Definite pen, a win for us would have been harsh on Wigan who were the better team. -
Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Being someone who prefers to be a***st the atmosphere I always prefer unreserved seating as its easier to get a big bunch of the vocal supporters together. Likewise if your more of an analytical fan or someone who prefers to sit you can find an ideal spot. Win win scenario for me barring the boozed up gob s***es turning up one minute before KO and causing chaos.
-
Reckon we'll fall just short of the mythical 20k tomorrow but it'll be a cracking atmosphere regardless. Should be a close fought top game, I'm hoping for another Tomlin masterclass. If we go top I dread to think of the state I'll be in on Saturday night.
-
I'm assuming next time they win by a few they'll be paying their club a little extra for their ticket! In all seriousness I quite like the gesture when it's initiated by the team as a sign of respect to those who've followed them but supporters shouldn't be demanding refunds.

Just stumbled across these pics from yesterday. Basically they have a similar supporters group to the RF. Looks good, did it transfer to a good atmosphere? Oxford United vs Wycombe
