Whilst I agree Azaz will be better with Latte Lath and has showed one or 2 good signs, to say he was brilliant today is fooling no one. He missed a sitter and failed with a relatively simple pass to play at least 2 players in. Even he looked frustrated with his own performance.

Robins realised they could pack the centre of the field and leave smith with acres of room as he hasn’t got the ability to use the ball. It wasn’t until Djiksteel came on that they came out and things opened up. Sadly, when things did open up our final ball was awful

100% and I’d far rather Gyokeres running at Djiksteel than Smith. He regularly pulled out to our right hand hand side on Monday.

I think you’re probably right. Gyokeres was pulling to our right hand side as he knew he had the pace and power to beat us. Djiksteel is a far better athlete

Whilst I agree with the general consensus that Archer didn’t have a great game on Saturday, his presence up front made all the difference. From the moment Paddy played the ball over the top mid way through the 1st half, where he outmuscled their centre half and squared it to McGree, their 5 man defence sat back an additional 5 yards, which allowed us to play through the lines in midfield with ease.

Doesn’t say much for the last transfer window if Muniz, Clarke, Mowatt and Hoppe can’t even make the bench

Our mentally was all wrong, tried to slow things down and turn backwards at every opportunity, thinking they were taking the sting out of the game but in reality, they gave the home side encouragement. Eventually the ball would either be lost or launched upfield by Lumley. It was painful.
