Agree with this..... there is a positive Mowbray legacy, it was sad that it didn't work out.... We all knew there was the basis of a very good team, just needed better organisation and simplicity in the way it played.. Pleased Karanka has decided to build on the team, rather than dismantle it and start again.

It worked at Southampton. Id prefer him over Venus. You have to ask, if the problems at Boro were so obvious under Mowbray - what did Venus do to solve them? At least we're moving away from the possibility of Martin O'Neil, Pulis, Warnock although Macleish is still out there!

Kamara shaves it for me - we always knew how good Butterfield could be... Kamara came out of of the 'blue' - no one knew anything about him.. As well as goals he's been a great positive influence.

Williams not playing for a few games now, I'm putting £10 on us beating QPR 2-1. Listening to Mogga's interview, he said players weren't working together and at least with Williams being sent off meant he could explore other options.. which makes me ask was there any agreements with Williams and Woody when resigning/signing about them playing when fit? Get the central defenders sorted and boro have the basis of a very good, attractive team..

I agree with Uwe's selection.... with Carayol, Emnes and Varga (if fit) to come off the bench for plan B against a Bournemouth defence that runs out of steam in the 70th minute.. Boro need to play well and win well...So: Boro 4 - 1 Bournemouth HT 1 - 1 Goals: Butterfield, Kamara, Juke and Woodgate (not necessarily in that order) Crowd: a disappointing 14000 UTB - Play Well, Win Well!!!!

No problem with what Leadbetter did.. at that stage in the game and after they had let a 2 goal lead slip, a point would be the minimum to take away from Forest and as KK tweeted a 'good road point'.
