  1. Factor in an assumed 4 mil for Gaston and take another 7mil off for Fletcher and you're around the £24m mark. Not bad business really
  2. Absolutely delighted to have Howson, he's likely to be out no.10 next year if you picked a squad today. Christie, don't know a lot about him but he's a full international so I'm pleased with that. Just a couple of wingers and a forward now - then maybe one or two to leave and we're about ready for the season
  3. I CANNOT wait for Leeds at home this year, it's going to be some atmosphere now
  4. This might be a question already answered but a lot of people keep talking about gibson and his desire to keep agnew in. Is there any hard evidance of this or is it all here say?
  5. Monk won't go to Sunderland. It's clear that it's a powerplay from his agent to push the deal along.
  6. guys....it's just a kit. I like it, for what it's worth
  7. It's a shame that it's not worked out for Fewster and Maloney - both always looked very good prospects. Mondial was raved about in parts. Like Bryn Morris before them, these hotly-tipped prospects seem to not take that step up, it's a shame for them that they can't break into our squad.
  8. I just don't see how we payed £12m for him. for me, he's no better than Clayton or Leadbitter, apart from popping up with a few goals. I just don't get the hype. seems like a good bloke but I think that money could have been better spent.
  9. PLAYER OF THE SEASON Only one choice - Ben Gibson GOAL OF THE SEASON Stuani vs Sunderland (first one, away) BEST MATCH Oxford at home in the FA Cup - good game of football and a great strike from Rudy WORST MATCH Where do you start? Palace Away, Hull Away, West Ham home, Stoke away, Bournemouth away. basically, every home game and most away after October BEST SIGNING Chambers on loan WORST SIGNING De Roon - we got mugged, big time BEST MOMENT OF THE SEASON The final whistle at Anfield last Sunday WORST MOMENT OF THE SEASON Karanka blaming the fans after the West Ha
  10. That is exactly the point I am making. He was played in an ineffective position and was all over the place. The lad cannot defend, it's just not in his DNA, yet he can't shoot or cross either, so i wonder what he brings to the team, apart from his dribbling and take-ons?
  11. I've just got back to my accommodation for the night. It was men against boys really from Chelsea's perspective. Agnew's lack of tactical nous setting the team up with Traore in there showed just how much he is not the man for the job. But even looking at the bench at half time, there was nothing there to inspire any kind of comeback. Congratulations Chelsea, deserved champions and I'm sure they'll have a big party at the weekend. We need to make it clear that Agnew is not the man for us on Saturday, however it can be done, it must be done. The away end tonight was incredible, we gave i
  12. Need 1 ticket for Monday night - gonna be in London so hoping I can get along. If anyone has one/knows any spares appreciate you thinking of me. Cheers
  13. football is supposed to be fun.....
  14. we should just gamble now - throw traore on up front....
  15. he's got another two years I think - he signed a four year deal?
  16. 34% possession against Bournemouth. Pitiful
  17. sell the club because of a bad season of judgements? behave - I'd rather be in league 2 with a man who loves the club steering rather than a consortium that doesn't care about the club and makes us a cash cow. Name me another chairman who buys season card holders a drink every week? You don't get that at Hull, that's for sure.... So what you are saying is if you are a p155head then you are happy with SG. Some one earlier said this is a small blip. Well we have been having this blip since McClaren left the club. The only ever present in all that time as been SG. Does that not prove

  19. I've kind of stopped caring now....
  20. an option would be to let Gibbo go to Man City, picking up that lad Denayer in the deal (one who's at the Scum at the moment) - would be a good replacement

I think we could realistically be looking at this squad for the opening game in the Championship next year: Ripley Friend Fry Ayala Fabio De Roon Clayton Fischer Stuani Bamford Gestede On the bench Meijas Espinoza Barragan Chapman Guerdiora Downing (A N Other Forward) I'd personally like to see Ripley and Chapm,an in the first team sooner rath
