My lad was showing me vids of his time with Barca juniors and b team. And his finishing was excellent. Not sure where that player has gone Maybe it's just a hell of a lot easier to play for the best team at junior level than it is for a poor team in the Premier League where you have no time to think. To be fair, it's rather hard for defenders to "attack" the ball when the opponent is running at you directly. Normally, you'd back off and wait for the opponent to make a move. If the defender makes a move first, you're asking to look like a fool.. It was a freak goal. Sure, he could've pressured him a bit more, but it looks like lack of communication to me.

Hope everyone realises they let us have the ball.. we weren't any better today than past 10 weeks. An absolute howler is not the product of playing better nor having pressure from two CFs. I love how we're supposedly so much more entertaining to watch, but let's judge it from playing a team that actually isn't holding back for 85 min.

4-4-2 will never, ever work for us no matter how much people want it to. Playing 2 central midfielders against better opponents with 3 man parked mid is just suicide. Think of it, we hardly every control the midfield, how are we supposed to do that with 2 man? You need to be the better team, be very well organised, and probably resort to some kind of kick'n'rush. There's a reason hardly any team plays it anymore.

I really hope Leadbitter doesn't player another game for us this season. He's just not cut for Premier League, and he can fight, shout, run all he wants, but last few games showed that doesn't hide your lack of abilities very well.

If I go out in the same manner in Copenhagen, I'll be eating rye bread and porridge for 3 months. It's not all that horrible, I can make porridge out of rye bread. Mhhh, delicious.
