He got 3 last year, he has one already this. We're more solid defensively and in the middle meaning that he should score more 'lampard' goals or goals like the one he got on Sunday. I would be so disappointed if he went.

Varga and Whitehead won't get a single goal between them this season, Leadbitter could get between 5 and 10. His shooting is erratic, but I'll never criticise a guy for having a shot, some of them will go in. Ability wise he's still probably our best midfielder - didn't really think that needed mentioning.

Leadbitter isn't leaving. Guaranteed. Also, we really shouldn't sell him, we're not far from being a very good team, and he's a vital part of it. His flaws are obvious, but his drive, passion and experience are much more important than a couple of million that we might not even be able to spend.

Sturridge, Rooney, Welbeck are better than Defoe. Defoe has barely played for Spurs in the last few months - basically because he's rubbish. Not in the squad? I'd take Bent, Agbonlahor, Rodriguez, Campbell over Defoe

I don't actually post a whole lot, but I've been reading this site for quite a while. I flirted with FMTTM for a bit, but I found my own views were more in line with the posters on here - the majority of you are knowledgeable, trustworthy and importantly for me relatively non-reactionary. The Forum has dropped slightly in the last month or so, but it would be better for everyone if the better members weren't scared off or annoyed. This is the only forum I truly like, I'd be gutted if it fell by the wayside.

It's the hope what kills you.
