  1. I'd be okay with that happening, be very surprised if Gibbo left for WBA. He can do better than that.
  2. Just had a look at one of their sites and they seem to be getting excited all of a sudden, they seem to think the fulham move's fallen through http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?t=112281&page=340 Latest post from someone they seem to be taking notice of: "He's most probably off. But most probably not to SW6. :phew:" Well that was a difficult forum to read. Something, something, Harlee Dean's shed.
  3. Mate, Antonio Barragan made it. Shotton is clearly good enough to be professional.
  4. Wait, if Bamford isn't Messi, does that mean Richard Stearman isn't Gerard Pique? Who'd have thought. Anymore irrelevant comparisons?
  5. I mean its clearly ***. Because if you want a big daft target man, you'd just go for Llorente, right? Doubt Swansea wants to sell and if they do you can be assured it would cost a lot more than 10 mil and massive wages compared to Gestede. Yeah, but he's much better. Also he's about to sign for Chelsea, so clearly Swansea are okay selling him.
  6. I mean its clearly ***. Because if you want a big daft target man, you'd just go for Llorente, right?
  7. It sounds like you are writing him off. And also writing off Fletcher who has started two games for us. Nah, Fletcher is *** mate, didn't you get the memo?
  8. Kinda sounds like you're writing him off though. Talking to a Hearts fan about him, he said he was, for the most part, excellent at Motherwell. Oxford fans rate him highly too. That's better than a youth player who is League Two level, isn't it? Also he's 26, hardly a young, upcoming player. Sometimes there's not as much difference between divisions as you'd think.
  9. Don't think anyone is claiming he's a superstar. Also his time at Eibar is largely irrelevant, because we've seen him in the championship. And he's good in the championship. And you need players who are good in the championship to get out of the championship. All makes sense really.
  10. bit like nsue and fabio :D :D Ha fair point, but to be honest, Nsue was absolutely pony as a winger.
  11. "Marvin Johnson: I can't defend, but I'm enjoying left back role at Oxford United" http://www.oxfordtimes.co.uk/sport/14971892.Marvin_Johnson__I_can__39_t_defend__but_I__39_m_enjoying_left_back_role_at_Oxford_United/ Sounds like it was a new role for him, I don't think we'll be replacing George or Fabio with him, he's here as a winger.
  12. 95% of his crosses were overhit last season too. I don't think it'll come with match practice, I don't think its their anymore. I'd also be wary of making the mistake of judging a man who's trying to keep his contract. I'd judge him when he goes back to phoning it in every week.
  13. It's the Gazette. Probably means it'll be done tomorrow.
  14. He was 4.79 bad. Fair enough. I believe you. Why, though?
  15. Who is this velociraptor fella? Didn't see the Forest game though, so can't comment on his performance. He probably wasn't 4.79 bad though.
  16. Wouldn't you prefer a natural left footer though? I love Fabio but it's predictable that he always cuts back to deliver a cross It's predictable that George is going to body feint and meg the defender but he still does it every time to be fair :P . The quality of Friend's delivery is a major worry for me if we're to rely on our full backs to provide service to the front 3. Genuinely don't get this idea that Fabio's delivery is better. I remember one decent cross from him last season. I'm willing to be proved wrong... but I just don't get it.
  17. Aye the only thing I can imagine is that he was a part of the Spanish clique last season or doesn't get along with the rest of the squad. Or it could be that George is better. And left footed. Dunno. Regarding Mings, having watched Albert Adomah tear him apart, I'm not sure he's actually a full back. Centre back is much more suited to him.
  18. At least someone is ignoring the calls to scapegoat George! Spot on, he was excellent last night. One mistake, unpunished, doesn't equal a *** performance.
  19. Could also be due to the fact that John Terry isn't very good anymore. Hasn't been for a number of years. Sticks his head in where it hurts, but not intelligent enough to make up for his lack of pace.
  20. Garry Monk last nig said that there were still one or two targets. He also keeps saying he has a small squad so I expect a centreback, creative midfielder cum wideman then replace what goes out. Racist!
  21. Hmm, pretty sure the jacket he was wearing at the 'airport' didn't have GIANLUCA DIMARZIO written on it. More evidence needed I think.
