Kinda sounds like you're writing him off though. Talking to a Hearts fan about him, he said he was, for the most part, excellent at Motherwell. Oxford fans rate him highly too. That's better than a youth player who is League Two level, isn't it? Also he's 26, hardly a young, upcoming player. Sometimes there's not as much difference between divisions as you'd think.

Don't think anyone is claiming he's a superstar. Also his time at Eibar is largely irrelevant, because we've seen him in the championship. And he's good in the championship. And you need players who are good in the championship to get out of the championship. All makes sense really.

I love Fabio but it's predictable that he always cuts back to deliver a cross It's predictable that George is going to body feint and meg the defender but he still does it every time to be fair :P . The quality of Friend's delivery is a major worry for me if we're to rely on our full backs to provide service to the front 3. Genuinely don't get this idea that Fabio's delivery is better. I remember one decent cross from him last season. I'm willing to be proved wrong... but I just don't get it.
