  1. I've always said that Leadbitter is my favourite all time boro player ;)
  2. Bikey AND Steele playing front of the defence? It's all going pete tong now! :)
  3. Probably true. But this idea of being solid and then bringing players on to affect the game later sounds familiar (was it Bristol???). The fact is wolves are 2nd bottom (therefore I assume, are crap), surely we're still looking at playoffs so we should be going there looking to lay waste to them?? I still have faith but I can see this blowing up in our faces... Again UTB!!!!!!!!
  4. Ahhhh we'll all laugh about this in 5 months when we're getting ready for our season opener at home to Chelsea
  5. Whoa whoa whoa.... you can get 10% off Sunday dinner???? ;)
  6. I couldn't tell if it all fitted properly till i played the original. absolutely outstanding effort!!!! I'll be singing "all emnes did was wet the bed" all day now!
  7. For once I agree GS about the poorer teams having a pre quali mini league, gives them something to fight for, no disrespect to them.
  8. its typical that where ever you sit there is always a family with kids in front of you and you can never tell the team what you really think of them with out sounding like a hooligan But you won't have to shout at the team next year because we're going to storm the league with champagne football :)
  9. I'm considering getting a season ticket next year, I've been to quite a few this year and I've been a bit of a nomad and haven't really settled on where to get one, any suggestions??? PS not near RF, I've never felt so uncomfortable when I ended up over there!
  10. I'm in a similar boat to BiB in terms of how many games I get to, probably about 10ish this season. The way I see it is there are 3 groups of fans, season ticketers, people like BiB (and me) who get to as many as they can, and then the worst kind, the ones who go have a few beers, sing boro till I die en route, complain after 20mins, go down for a pint after 35mins and then leave after 60, having annoyed everyone in the vicinity, and I guessing pmards is more frustrated by the later, and rightly so. It's a bit of a lose/lose for the club because if they offer too many deals ST holders wil
  11. On an unrelated note, on a scale of 1 to outrageously, how big a joke are cackburn
  12. Can we make up our own reasons to distract ourselves from this farce? Something akin to the robbo years - I'll open with woody's been getting the entire squad on coke and then sleeping with all their wives, so they all hate him but love the coke.
  13. Would it not be cheaper and as equally effective to sign ish permanently and play him at CB instead ???
  14. Barring the past 10 games, we've played some very good football this season and have come on since the previous seasons, some of the football I've witnessed at the riverside has actually been a joy to watch. And in the process a squad overhaul has been in progress on the fibres of a shoestring budget. This doesn't make me a fan who blindly adores Mogga, he has made some crazy decisions this year and is accountable to some degree for our slip down the table. That said the improvements under the circumstances have been evident, for those who have a memory longer than a few months, and for tha
  15. As we have a knack of losing to all the teams below us I think the plan is to get as far down the table as possible so there's less teams to beat us, how's that for crazy logic!!!
  16. I've given up losing faith! It ain't over till it's over (obviously). Turf this turd formation and go four at the back and main or miller up top, or both!
  17. I'd rather go 442 and have muzz and ameobi starting on the flanks to run at them and put them on the back foot from the off. With confidence as fragile as ours it's imperative we get the first goal... And second, and third .... Or am I asking too much :)
  18. Interesting formation, is anyone else a bit worried that this will play into Adomahs hands if he can get the run on friend/woody? Hopefully someone will be told to do a job on him. Not saying they're a one man team or anything.....
  19. Didn't realise juke had ligament damage, always a dodgy one to come back from, never really goes away. Always wanted to see a long run of him and skippy this season but ones always been injured, or frozen out...
  20. Boro 3-2 Bristol. Bristol player 18' ameobi 41' main 56' Adomah 79' skippy 85' Absolutely no reason/logic/common sense behind it, just wanted to cheer myself up.
  21. Well said pmards. I thought first half was brilliant, didn't realise ameobi's "expertly timed flick" nearly put macdonalds shot over the keeper. Good to see a bit of confidence in our passing again aswell, combined with some resolute defending. Could of done with a some Valium for the last 15 minutes, my hearts still booming!!!!
  22. Agreed. I read the skysports report this morning and was a little disappointed to see that it said "Chelsea ran out deserved winners" 1st goal was a deflection, and we were in the game for 75mins (however not surprised as sky have a bonk on for prem teams). Yeah they play sharper football, which is to be expected from a team composed of 200m worth of footballer but "ran out deserved winners" is bulls***
