I'm not sure they will sell any more, to be honest. They might open up sales mid-season when we know more about further measures, as it is right now I'd be expecting things to get a bit worse as we get towards the winter months so probably best for the club not to offer something they can't deliver.
Yeah I’m kind of expecting a “those who didn’t renew in time can get a 1/2 season ticket later in the year. Subject to restrictions being lifted” type announcement.

Anyone heard anything about whether anymore season tickets will go on sale? I unfortunately didn’t renew before they postponed sales.

Will Woodgate be involved at all?
He’s the new chief scout. Got an eye for excellent league 1 players

On the Marv thing, only reason I’d be inclined to give him a year extension is because the squad needs at least 4-5 additions and it’s likely we won’t have a lot of time to get bodies in.
At least he’s a known quantity (albeit not a particularly good quantity).

Just occurred to me, we could get relegated by Wednesday on Wednesday!
It’s frigging fate isn’t it.....

Did you buy Pulis’ PR BS?
In no way did he stabilise the club.
He was on £3m+ a year, he signed Flint, Saville & some very expensive loan signings.
We would’ve made money on players whether or not he was in charge.Didn’t someone one here say that he DID sort a lot of things out behind the scenes?
I’m genuinely still curious as to what those “things” are, as on the face of it, as you say, he got paid a lot of money to make overpriced signings and pointless, expensive loans....

One home win in 2020 would have made this final day malarky impossible.
One home win!
What on earth happened, yes we watched the games but what on earth happened?
With our home form we should be ashamed and under usual circumstances are plight would not be even alive.
Thank goodness our away form gave us a chance
An incompetent buffoon hired an incompetent buffoon, who failed to get the best out of a lopsided squad that had been assembled by an incompetent buffoon and a lying ***?

I sold Martin Freeman a pair of shoes.
In a shop or online?

I think we saw the result of a changing formation/selection in the hull and QPR games. Nows not the stage in the season to be dicking about with things. He’s found something that worked, stick with it until it doesn’t.
I’ll go for a nervous 1-0 to boro
i once saw bolo coming out of Peking villa, couldn’t think of anything to say so just started shouting “BOLO, BOLO”. He just smiled and said “alright lads”. Lovely fella.

Great result. I read “an obvious trip” and thought we’d got away with one. Looked more like to me he misread the ball, *** himself and fell over.
clear sending off, absolutely baffled by that decision. Quite a clinical pen though, which is good😊

I’d go for a revolutionary approach of playing players in their actual positions, rather than a CM at RB, a LB at CB, a LM at LB, a CB at CM and ravel Morrison on the pitch.
so something like;spence-moukoudi-fry-coulson

It’s not what id actually play but I think it’s a reasonable proposal given the players NW appears to prefer.
As CT mentioned our defence, whilst not watertight, has been (relatively) okay.
That said we can’t wait around to go 1-0 down and then try and do something coz we’re pants at the other end.
im going 2-1 Boro with a late pen to win it.

If/when relegation is mathematically confirmed, I'll start a new thread called "Are we ready for League One?" I suspect the answer will still be no if Woodgate is in charge.
Tbf we can probably just keep this thread open for when we’re bottom of league 1....

Anyone else notice this reading that article?
The stalwart defenderthe strapping Spanish stopper
the towering defender
the physical centre-back
the hands-on stopper
cant they just call him ‘Ayala’ instead of breaking out the synonym machine?

for all we know the club have known for ages, just makes better headlines as we approach re-start
That’s the thing though, if the club are releasing this now after knowing for a while, who is it helping? Who benefits?
It doesn’t benefit the team or help the manager prepare for a relegation scrap. Surely Gibson can’t be lining this up as an excuse for going down?
-
I don’t hold anything against him (it’s his career, injury prone, got kids/family etc).
The thing that hacks me off is it comes out 4 days before we kick off again. It was always going to be difficult anyway (as we are pants) but this just doesn’t help matters in terms of game preparation.
Hasn’t a contract offer been on the table since about Xmas? Club surely could’ve given Dani a deadline of say end of May, particularly with this Covid situation, then this would’ve blown over by now...

And maybe a beer thread is for the best! We had a whiskey discussion a year or 2 ago I seem to recall, cant remember if it was in its own thread or not
Well the monotony of lockdown has driven me to drink (probably a bit too much). So the beer chat is kinda relevant to this thread...

I think the real question regarding the ale should be; are you keeping it in the fridge, putting it the fridge just to get it down to cellar temp, or drinking it at room temperature?

Judging by their actions, our government are very much experimenting with the idea of herd immunity too.
As for American Police, when you have the POTUS going on TV and saying "When the looting starts, the shooting starts" without a single trace of irony, are you honestly surprised?
JUST IN: POTUS claims he was being sarcastic 😒

As is typical of the FAI Robbie Keane signed a 4 year deal at the time that McCarthy signed a 2 year deal so he still has a contract. However it is understood that Stephen Kenny does not want him in the senior set up. Kenny wishes to work with Keith Andrews as his assistant and Damien Duff as coach.
Wonder who Sky sports would employ to slate boro if Keith Andrews goes...🤔

Looks like he just fell over. Clumsy ***.
Maybe the the police didn’t believe this big clumsy oaf could really be a footballer so they’ve charged him with lying to an officer and impersonating a footballer.
