Haven't seen much of Pandur. Do people rate him? Would he be an upgrade on Brynn? If we're after a first choice keeper, although I doubt we could afford it, I would love us to go in for Viktor Johansson.

Quite excited by this loan signing. Can't say I know much about the lad but judging from YouTube clips he seems more of a 10? If it means no more Whittaker starting then I'll be even happier.

Wholeheartedly agree. He seems to struggle keeping possession and there’s been a few times he’s misplaced (easy) passes too. Need to take him off.

Something I noticed in the first game also, refs being completely unaware of the play and stopping a dangerous attack by calling the freekick. Very frustrating.

Growing into the game and Silvera looking very good. Whittaker is a cause for concern.

A lot can be said for last nights performance but I think my main worry would be Burgzog and Whittaker in those positions behind the striker. Both players seem to combine the negative attributes of becoming passengers, playing individually and having real lack out output for the team. Of course, you’ll see flashes of brilliance occur, and possibly every now and then a great game. But I think we’re really going to struggle with a lot of transitions or crafting out chances with these two in such influential positions. As a positive, I do think Conway would be a great player in those positions but that requires us to sign at least one forward.

It seems there is a sense of apathy towards losing in this squad. Whilst bringing in some players in will help, I’m really doubting Carrick’s management to cultivate a strong and determined mindset. Today was a perfect example of that.
