I am in the area for that weekend as it is my 18, was looking really forward to a big(ish) crowd and a good game against leeds, then saw the cup was being played on this weekend and we got the famous... Aldershot. Will still go to this but was looking forward to my first riverside game on the season and most of last season in a big game. Ow well eh

Think Smallwood and hines both deserve games after there recent good performances. My team would be Steele Hoyte,Hines,Woody,Friend Emnes, Smallwood, Josh Mc, Ledesma Mcdonald, Bigh Ish

Because he was fully fit and showing that he was one of the best again. Dont blame him for saying he would have stayed. Lest be honest when fit he was the best CB in england so he was Real Madrid quality.

It's has created some interest in other forums and this one, with downing being an outcast at Liverpool and looking like they could loan him out, who on here would love to see downing back at the Boro on a short term loan from jan till may? If so and if it could be made possible by further outgoings to the squad, what do you think he can bring to the team? If I was mogga I would be keeping a close eye on this, especially if he is Not gathering untreated from other premier league teams.

I thought he was on at least 20k as lots of prem team where after him, however I will Not question you over it as I know you know the Bailey family well from the wonderful world of Twitter. Any idea how much they will be looking for him in jan? 1mill, 2mill or am I way high with my figures again ?

I just think that if Bailey is on 20-30k (strachen wage) and mcmanus is on 10-20k so possibly 50k wage left over then maybe, just maybe, he might want to come home for a few months. Just look at bellamy. He went to cardiff from liverpool and then last season he had an amazing year for liverpool. Emnes, Juke, McD, Miller, Main, Williams can all find the back of the net! i would like another CB and maybe a RW like Adamoha, also ive seen on a few sights that downing is going to be offered on load. personaly i would love to see downing back and i think he would be the class class act that could WIN us the league. offer him the Bailey wage once he is sold (unfortunatly) and the offer liverpool a cheeky £5mill if we go up to take him of there books. play williams and the juke up front and we might have a good chance, play emnes (who i am a fan of but is not in any form) and miller who is a complete donkey then we have no chance IMO.

After reading this fourm for ages i have finally joined ! This season is the first year in a long time where i am not worried about any player not performing or letting us down. Every single player in the squad now can give something different to another in s, what i see as only, positive way! Looking forward to seeing the partnership of Thompson and Leadbitter in the middle as i see Bailey going if a offer is made for him (unfortunatley) Mogga finally has his team like he had at WBA and look what he did with them with his team.
