  1. This is probably Norwich's cheaper alternative to Cannon, and it matches more with the model of who they have been signing this Summer, more experienced players
  2. I think people forget that the teams we are trying to replicate (Brentford, Brighton) also sign the odd experienced players, for example Brentford signed Ben Mee last Summer who was 32 and had just been relegated with Burnley, he played in 37 league games last season, and Brighton have just signed James Milner on a free this season, and he has started the last two games. Brighton are still happy to have Welbeck and Lallana as well. I am not saying Pritchard is the answer but someone with a bit more experience wouldn't be a bad thing in the right context, Brentford and Brighton have clearl
  3. The issue with buy back clauses, is if you set it to a certain price, and the player has a worldly season that increases their value 10 fold, you might lose said player incredibly cheap to the buy back clause. The exact thing has just happened with PSV, Xavi Simons had an amazing season with them scoring 19 goals in 34 games from midfield. He's just been bought back by PSG for only €6million, when realistically, young Dutch players who score that many goals has to be worth 30million +. But I guess that is the risk you might have to take to get certain players back.
  4. Frustrating that we won't match the offer. You would think Wolves would be more inclined with our bid as they would be strengthening a direct rival in Luton. I don't think Wolves are going to be top 10 or even comfortable mid table, I think they may struggle with so many of their players leaving, Mouthinho, Jimenez, Neves etc.
  5. If we are looking at a like for like replacement for Giles, then it has be to be Leif Davis from Ipswich. He got 14 assists from left back for Ipswich last season, he's 23 (only a month older than Giles), known for his crossing abilities and set pieces. I doubt Ipswich would let him go though, they are looking like a team aiming more for a play off position than survival, but he is probably the closest you are going to get to a Giles clone. Looking at left backs who have similar numbers to Giles, they are either way out of our league playing for likes of Dortmund, or they are playing in t
  6. Coventry looking lower mid table if Hamer goes.
  7. This is my bestfriend of 13 years, Ted the Dog. His interests including having is bum patted, eating cheddar cheese, and rolling on the lawn.
  8. Was unable to watch or listen to the game unfortunatley! Could someone give me a quick run down on how we played, who played best/worst, etc.? I have seen the final score, did it flatter us? Thank you!
  9. Thanks @TeaCider24 @Neverbefore appreciate it! Just happy to get a win.
  10. Was just flying back from holiday so missed the game, can someone just give me a quick summary of how we played, was it a deserved win? Thanks!
  11. Larsen won't be first choice as Aspas plays every game. Flopped at Liverpool but seems to bag at least 14 goals every season for Celta, already has 3 in 3 this season.
  12. This is where that twitter account got the story from: https://as.com/futbol/primera/el-celta-apuesta-por-larsen-n/
  13. Just seen Joe Lolley is joining Sydney FC at 29, what a bizarre move. Looked class a few seasons back, not sure why his form dropped off so much, surprised he's not gone off to a mid to low tier Championship team.
