  1. I wonder if Man City would be interested in loaning or selling Croatian no 6 Ante Palaversa, has been out on loan since joining them in 2019. Played last season in the Belgian League with Kortrijk, 22 year old, 1.87 metres, has a physical presence and good passing range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=retau-n2OFs
  2. Any chance you could send a link to that, thanks in advance?
  3. Did a bit of googling and it seems AC Milan are about to make an offer for him.
  4. Looking for number 6's if our loan possibilities don't happen, I came across twice capped Swedish international Darijan Bojanic, great name for a chant by the way. Has played his entire career in Sweden, wonder if he could be enticed over to Boro, although his agent has only recently uploaded his highlights, so he may be interested. The good thing about the highlights is that has some defensive work mixed with the other side of his game from about 2.50, looks to be a great passer and quite skilful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENSyHvx13ik Another one I found was I
  5. Found a Dutch defensive midfielder Mees Hoedemakers who may fit the requirements, unfortunately again in the highlights his defensive ability not shown. The Italians in the previous post and this player have valuations of 1.2 million euros or less if Transfermkt can be believed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTj5iZhK0Rs Also an Australian box to box midfielder I'd recommend Boro have a look at is Angus Thurgate, a big improver last season, became more of a threat going forward and definitely handles the defensive side as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGb-QtRhfas
  6. Choudhury looks he would be a top signing if he wants to come here, someone said he's rejected us twice though. Here are two other defensive midfielders I've come across on database searches, both Italian. Pity that their short highlights don't include their defensive efforts, but they both look like they can control play in possession well. Both also have been loaned extensively by their parent clubs, they might be interested in a permanent home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do1xIWsDD8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYhm0Rt6PTk
  7. Might also get some played through the middle as well, McGree can pick a pass.
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dr5HLZxn1Qs He looks to me to have a decent amount of pace and skill, not just a striker who just stands in front of goal and taps them in. I think he will quite handy once he gets used to the players around him. There's another video also where Jurgen Klinsmann talks quite enthusiastically about him and also Schalke's youth system.
  9. If you've ever seen Aaron Mooy interviewed, it's like he's having his toenails extracted. Some players do their talking on the field
  10. Funny how we see players differently. I watched the Marseille stream and saw a player who was played in an advanced role but still managed to drop in the number 6 position at different times to set up play so hardly someone not getting involved enough in the game. I've seen him play some great passes in the preseason highlights so far, I'm not saying that he can't improve further but you definitely are not giving him credit for the ability that he has. He will do whatever is asked by the manager and is an intelligent footballer although you obviously can't see it.
  11. Mobility looks to be a problem for him.
  12. Finished second in the league last season, should be a hard workout.
