Buy back clauses aren't uncommon. A lot of clubs in Spain do it. Real Madrid sold Dani Carvajal to Leverkusen for 5m and then after he had a good season, bought him back for an already agreed 6.5m. I'm sure there are cases where a club has bought them back to then sell them straight to another club at a profit 😂

Archer will cost more than we are getting for Akpom. It depends if the club thinks spending close to 20m on 1 player is good business for a Championship side. I'd be surprised but I hope we do spend it on reinforcements

I think you'll end up furious then. If he wants to leave and a club bids anywhere between 10-12, I think he will leave. It would surprise me if we accepted less than 10, unless the club feel it can be used to strengthen us

Depending on the fitness of Clarke, we wouldn't need to buy another centre back. Left back (possibly 2) and a Striker are surely priorities at this stage
