I've criticised Main when we were in form, and I'll criticise him when we are not. I'm not 'blaming' him for anything at boro, just don't rate him thats all.

Can't afford to scrap this season already though Who said anything about scrapping the season? If there is good players available now at the right price and I'm talking about players that we would be interested in even in the summer then by I'd like to see us sign them up BUT only the right pkayers that fit into Karankas long term plan. I don't want panic buys to try and make the play offs, this season was about turning Mowbrays shambles of a start into a project, and I think that has been successfull so far, lets mot ruin it with silly panic buys! We could really do with a striker & a playmaker, but I would still rather get nobody than overpaid panic buys. Its all about building for next season, and the best business will be done in the summer

McClaren? I thought Southgate signed him? Strachen put him in the reserves and told him to find another club. Really though, if he's as good as some make out on here, where's the glowing list of superlatives to reflect the 5 and a half years he's been here? Apologies Chimpy it was indeed Southgate who signed him. I'm not singing his praises or trying to claim he is quality, just pointing out that he devides opinion more than most players I have ever known, but a host of managers have still kept him, although I think your right that Strachen would have got shot of him if he could have.

One thing i will say about Emnes... McClaren, Southgate, Strachen, Mowbray, Karanka, have all seen something in him, along with a host of opposition managers who have picked him out as our danger man on numerous occasions, and opposition managers who've shown an interest in signing/loaning him not to mention opposition fans - i have spoke to people who support a whole load of different teams over the last few years and i have honestly heard many many people ask me where we got Emnes from and how much we would sell him for. So he must do something! Personally, i don't think he's a class act

I'd let him leave, if we had 2 quality strikers and we could use Juke as a 3rd choice in a confident attack then I'd consider keeping him, but we don't have that luxury, I'd let him go and look to bring in a proper goal scorer.

I think we are missing the most important thing to come out of today..... WE ARE ABOVE THE LEEDS SCUM!!!!!! I hope McCormack is looking at the league table! Hopefully it will remain this way for the rest of the season!
