  1. There is the benefit of good goalkeeper distribution
  2. Only just realised we were kicking off early lol
  3. Solly isn't out of contract? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23972295 - runs out in 2017, i don't think we would be able to afford him
  4. How could Karanka have "kept Steele in the team" when Steele wasn't in the team? Steele got himself sent off and then went for surgery on his injury, Given was then in goal until 27/28th February at which point we needed another keeper, Steele was not fit and Meijas played. Meijas injured himself in training and because Steele still wasn't fully fit Dimi came in and hasn't really made any big mistakes since hence no reason for Steele to have walked back into the position. "No matter how well Dimi has performed - i think lots on here over rate his performances - karanka should have kept stee
  5. I really hope Steele stays. I think We would struggle for £2.5m if we sold him this summer, his market value will have massively suffered from his time on the bench. No matter how well Dimi has performed - i think lots on here over rate his performances - karanka should have kept steele in the team and we would be looking at selling him for millions more right now
  6. I would go: Graham Reach Tomlin Williams Leadbitter morris Friend gibson Woodgate atkinson Steele 3-1 Boro with goals from graham, friend and reach
  7. I think graham would be a great signing; cut out his 2013 and you have a striker of top championship/low premiership quality.
  8. I saw that - forest seem to want our entire squad. Never even occurred to me that we would have competition to renew dimi's contract
  9. Regardless of FFP, spending big amounts on a player is not what is going to keep the club going. We need to reduce our massive losses so that when gibson leaves we wont need to rely on another owner being as good to us as he is. It amazes me that people are happy to stand by and watch the club making losses of over 10m a year and still call for more investment! over time we will be able to build a squad capable of promotion without spending a fortune. Look at friend, carayol, dimi, leadbitter + loanees and academy graduates etc who barely cost a penny yet are a***st our best players. Patience
  10. I want to see both chalobah and omerou back next season + hopefully an attacking mid from chelsea (piazon or hazard would be perfect but maybe out of our reach)
  11. doncaster at home in front of a good crowd and a great performance was certainly one of the best, the we built the world banner was impressive in the build up as well
  12. Tomlin is winning me over, i think he will be an important player for us next season
  13. 5 in 16 for graham, its not a bad return. If we could get him on affordable wages i would keep him
  14. Yeah Hines and bates were immense for us at one time
  15. Woody will be around next year to finish his contract i would imagine
  16. Didn't expect to see reach get thrown straight in but I'm exited to see if he has improved
  17. I'm kinda hoping Steele will be given a shot tomorrow, after years of him as our first choice keeper doesn't he at least now deserve a chance to impress in a match environment? If he isn't given an opportunity like pretty much everyone else has then i hope he leaves in the summer and recovers his career before its too late.
  18. I like the home one, but i doubt its real because we're due a white band kit, we have had one every two seasons for a long time now.
  19. The way I see it, if you support a team consistently performing in the top 6 ( ie in england it would be united, ***nal, city, chelsea, liverpool or spurs) but you wouldn't follow them if they weren't 'good' then thats being a 'glory hunter.' They are a problem because now unfortunately it's quite normal to do this instead of supporting the club where you come from or the one your parents support. That takes potential revenue from the smaller clubs and gives it to big clubs, increasing the gap between successful and not successful and making competition unfair. I dont see the appeal o
  20. If we do this next season, we aren't going anywhere near promotion
