I think you can say that for most of our team, we’re trying to play a fast paced game but it just seems like their brains can’t keep up with it. Lots of bad decisions, bad passes and we just never seem in control of the ball. Only Howson is really looking up to it.

We just aren’t good enough or confident enough in the final 3rd, look how easy O’Brien got through there but we’re just playing to many long hopeful balls forward.

He’s a good guy and clearly has a good attitude and u can tell he wants to do well for the club. It’s fair enough but he needs to start showing bigger signs of improvement. He’s another player that does one thing quite well but imo has a poor all round game, same as greenwood.

Someone was arguing with me earlier in the season that he’s better than Giles lol

Looking back at it, the match is being played at a high tempo, our players can’t quite get to grips with it but theirs can. I think it’s just as simple as that, our touches are too heavy, passes rushed and wayward/over hit.

The annoying thing is hull look just as open at the back as we are, we can easily get in behind them.

I think it still worked, our players are popping up in good positions and space but the final balls are terrible.

Philogene is one of the best forwards in the league, he will cause problems all night.

Gibson will let Scott spend the player sales money as he always does, which is already over £10m due to rogers and crooks sales, there will be one or 2 more sales in summers to push that up also.
