To follow on from Bugrit, http://www.fplstatistics.co.uk is fairly accurate (not 100%) at predicting when a player will rise/drop in price. This can be useful when you want to know whether or not you can afford to wait until the end of the week before buying/selling a player. eg Kompany will likely drop tonight, Mata and De Bruyne may rise tonight or tomorrow.

Agreed.. Bloy is acting like its a done deal but could end up looking a fool. 100% it's make or break for him, I know the forum is divided on him as it stands. Having said that I'm sure most of us really really hope he's got this one right because Lambert would be an awesome signing!

Wow I was not expecting any real news when I got in tonight, I'm happily surprised! Bloy had been right about a lot of stuff over the past few days, especially after the Stuani being in Marbella thing recently I'm inclined to believe him. Very very happy if it turns out we are signing Lambert! AV saying otherwise (as I refreshed the page after typing the above) puts the brakes on the hype train a little, I guess we'll wait and see tomorrow!

Just got back, Trafalgar square was incredible. I've got a few photos I'll put up in the morning (right now just typing is a challenge). Me and my friends were wondering if this sort of thing has happened before? Also NB We found an off license down the road just as they were shutting the booze down at 11 so we grabbed as much as we could! Already drank the nearby Tescos wine and it was grim!

Like others have said it depends what you want to use it for, but if gaming is a priority you're much better off with a windows machine. Lots of games simply won't run on mac, and gaming performance per £ is much better for windows machines generally. Personally, I've got a macbook air and I love it, good for uni work, portability, ease of use etc. Just keep in mind gaming performance is probably the weakest aspect of all macbooks compared to a similarly priced windows machine.

Big weeks coming up, some people will struggle to field a full team this weekend and then next weekend there's the double gameweeks. All this is requiring some very careful transfer planning!
