Decent news on Jones. I like him. However, if we are going to seriously challenge next year for autos/top 6 then not sure he’s consistent enough or prolific enough to be our main starter on the right for the full season. He needs to add more goals and assists to his game. He’s good enough for a mid table side like for the most part we were this season, but top 6? Not sure. For comparison, Forss has the same amount of G/A in less than half the minutes Jones has played this year.

Think one of the relegated teams will snap him up, or maybe even one of the teams that go up. Any time that gets him has a cracking player on there hands at this level

People were coping so hard at the time. ‘He probably doesn’t start when everyone is fit’. Lol. 3 months later he’s starting for 4th place Villa in the prem and in Europe.
-
Nope, but can’t imagine they will be
-
Yeah shame about that. The club really like Frankie and have high hopes for him. Hopefully he can get fixed up and ready to go next season.
-
Trialist pal. Hope he gets another run out as would be a shame for his trial game to be cut short after 40 minutes. He’s a physical monster. Size of his legs are like tree trunks.

Ipswich V Boro 1-1 (Latte Lath)

This might be really harsh but I think people may slightly overrate Clarke because of the way he defends. Everything is always very last ditch, stretching, sliding. I do like how strong he is in the air though, same for Rav. But imo he was poor yesterday, got bullied a few times and was at fault for there goal. So I find it a bit odd how people have him as their MOTM. I’m quite confident Lenihan and Rav will be first choice next year. Both are our best communicators in the back line and both are also the best ball players we have in that position. I reckon they’d make a great partnership. -

Btw not sure if it was mentioned here at the time but did anyone see their keeper blatantly and clearly handle the ball out the box in the first half? Embarrassing officiating again. -

I’m just really pleased that we are ending the season strongly even though let’s be honest for the most part playoffs were always a long shot. From a few months ago it was a pretty grim feeling around the club but ending on a high going into next season will really help give a feel good factor and some real optimism. There’s a clear base to build off now whereas 9 games ago I didn’t really know what that base was. Well done Carrick and the staff -
I believe his dads his agent. Doesn’t take a genius to see what’s gone on. Club think the same too. He also hasn’t scored that many goals this season so weird that Romano has tweeted that, although it isn’t, because all he does is tweet what agents pay him to tweet.

Hull v Boro 2-2 (Latte Lath, Azaz)

That’s harsh. He’s struggled during his time here but I don’t think I’ve ever questioned his desire or work rate. -

There’s definitely a player in there imo. Whether or not we see that player is another question though. I think his main problem atm is adapting to the physical aspect of the championship. Technically he’s very good and we’ve seen he can hit the net as well with some good finishes -

I hadn’t been completely sold on him yet but he’s been much better recently and tonight I thought he was our best player. Don’t think he lost the ball once. On the basis of that performance I wouldn’t be at all dissatisfied if we made it a permanent deal. -

He has good moments (like the assist) but he’s so inconsistent and some of things he does is worse than Sunday league. He definitely gets a free pass from some fans and I don’t really know why. Think it’s because of how bad he was earlier on in the season and people feel sorry for him -

Hull been class since the 10min mark tbh. Been impressed with them, as frustrating as it is. -

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a more clumsy lackadaisical passer of the ball than Engel. Christ every match he just passes the ball to the opposition when under absolutely no pressure numerous times. -

Tees finally realised we are playing a back 4. Only took them 3 games mind. -

Maddo and Tees thinking we are playing wing backs again, even though we haven’t played them for the last two games. -

Last seasons? Yeah. This seasons? Maybe a little but his form was pretty awful before his injury and he hasn’t hit any type of consistency like last year -

Don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion but during his time here I didn’t think Giles was a bad defender. I think he was a victim whereby because he was so good going forward people just assumed he was an attacking full back who couldn’t defend. He might have got caught out a few times earlier on but for the most part he was sound. Also speaks volumes that pretty much every team we used to play against actually targeted our right hand side in Smith. -

I noticed in the car back Tees /Drury mentioned Thomas was playing wing back. It was definitely a back 4 though. -

Lol we’ve been saying this for the past 10 gameweeks -
What’s the chances of Archer being available and how much would he cost?
-
What’s the difference though? If you make more money then you’re going to ‘lose’ less money.
