Too simplistic. 2 spawny wins and 3 hammerings is a world away from 2 good wins plus 3 close games in which we show we have a game plan. 5 games showing any real plan, with consistency as to the formation, team, gameplan, etc with a few points is all I ask right now. As it is, this is a repeat of Monk. Running from your chosen system when it does not work, then flailing around until you get sacked at Christmas.

Yep, Fry let's him go free. Both goals down to Fry. -
Absolutely dire performance. Just awful to watch. Far worse than a Pulis game, even, where at least it looked like we knew what we were doing, even if it was horribly defensive. This looked like kick and chase, playground nonsense at times. Reliant on mistakes being made by Wigan under the press. No real passing game. And not even a reliable defense - we were lucky in extra time not to ship a goal or three. I appreciate Woodgate is new to this - but after a couple of months as head coach I'd expect to at least be able to see what he's trying to do - but so far it's a more disorg

Hardly. He'll be 31 at the end of the season. This is a cash grab season for him, last of the big contracts. Best he can hope for after this is a 2 year contract on 30% of his current pay at a low/mid table club with no great aspirations.

Same team, largely, as Pulis had. With deadweight shifted. We should still be able to play.
-
Ayala on a yellow. That's a red waiting to happen.
-
Definitely filled out Woodgates "thin squad".
-
And there's the problem. Fletcher still isn't a wide player.

Again with this. All it demonstrates is he gets into positions to score. 1 in 2 last season, in a defensive horrible team, with no support and no creativity. And in 5 hours?
-
Sorry to hear that Neil.

Link?

You can get Pulis for that.

No idea why people think we can do better. This whole 'misses chances' thing of a striker who scored 15 odd goals last season in a Pulis side. Play to his strengths and we've got one of the best in the league.

If you reckon you have a story, how about telling it?

Are you Tony Pulis in disguise? You must have loved last season. Shotton is being judged on his performances since he joined us. He's not a RWB, he never was. He played RB because Pulis likes 4 big CBs across the back. He had a handful of games where he didn't look incompetent at RB, but was largely a liability. He's demonstrated repeatedly that he's incapable of passing the ball out and is capable only of hoofing long balls, which is not how we want to play. He's not a patch on Ayala or Fry as a CB, yet he's being paid £30000 a week. Clayton is not a creative midfielder who

Being left solo against 2 players isn't helping. -

Neither goal had anything to do with Howson? -
A fringe player at Liverpool who has only ever been on loan versus QPR's best player. Hardly a fair comparison. Edit: not that I think Kent's really possible.
