Thought he did a good job on commentary today.
Was it ever mentioned what the craic was with Drury?
The lad did a great job imo. Breath of fresh air.

A lot was made of Hull's January business but it doesn't seem to have done them any good. Winless in five and slipping out of the play off race.

Early days but he's a lot less irritating so far
I was resisting slagging him off in case there was some unfortunate reason he wasn't on today. Agreed though 🤣

Replacement seems ok to be fair. Good commentary.

No Mark Drury today?

Is he one to hope gets on at some point?
I don't think he'll be on today. Surely just filling the bench. Tricky left winger.

Wondered where Charlie Lennon was when he didn't play for the u18s earlier. That mystery is solved 🤣

Oh god everyone's injured again.

How was the 18’s game today ?
Rough for the young lads. 2 late-ish goals for Sunderland but it was deserved. They barely created anything. One to forget!

Does anyone know if Fin Cartwright has been injured over the last few months?
Law McCabe has made the bench quite a bit but not really seen Fin there.
Wouldn’t mind taking a look at him at some point before the end of the season - maybe an incentive for him to sign on if he really is the real deal.
Wouldn't want to rush him through to be fair. Needs more time to develop.

Really hope they don't pick a stinker.

Dramatic win for the U21s V The Jawdees last night. Scored twice in the last few minutes to secure a 3-2 win. Pharrell Willis with the winner.

another interesting prospect to watch out for. Tricky left winger. Will be with the u21s next year. Needs to keep working on his end product but lots to like about his current abilities.

I’ve only started watching the 18’s and 21’s recently. What have you made of McCabe @Smogzilla from the times you have seen him?
Seen quite a bit of him this year. Talented lad and becoming a team leader. I'm not quite sure what his natural position is. Unsure whether he'll end up as an 8 or a 10. Still very young though so plenty of time for him to figure it out.
Eric Hamelberg is one to keep an eye on in the u18s in midfield as well.

Do you think they are good enough / ready?
I think Finch is good enough to be a bench option at least. He's come back really sharp.

Home kit is perfect.
Blue shorts as well. As it should be!

More shuffling of the recruitment team. Chris Jones is now "head of recruitment" working under Scott.

Watching the u21s again this afternoon at the Riverside. 1-1 HT v Spurs. Finch and Willis looking very sharp. Both playing wide. Finch has had the Spurs LB on toast and Willis struck the bar from range. Hopefully they'll get a chance in the first team soon.

If Ipswich win the league is that the best performance in championship history? Given that they are a newly promoted side and the quality of the other teams chasing?
