If it were Cattermole, I'd get behind him. If the players respect him, he is a good coach and he can work within the new framework for recruitment, it would be better than another new backroom setup with inevitable disagreements over signings. We're stuck with the current squad for now and he knows the players already, so the transition period (new manager getting to understand his players strengths and weaknesses) would be short.
