  1. You could argue that Brentford created a few but didnt take their chances despite pressing hard and in the second half especially Boro created little and won it with a goal that took a heavy deflection off Bidwell and wrong footed the keeper. Boro's late winner had a slice of luck to it which was why I think a draw would have been a fair result. But of course I'll take it back to the Riverside anyway:)
  2. Watched the game from my bees season ticket seat which was a bit awkward to be honest. When the second goal went in i was half way to my feet before i remembered where i was. Think i did a half decent job of being neutral. Thought we did a professional job on Brentford, it wasnt pretty from the Boro but it was a job well done. Bees mates were gutted to let that late goal in and i have some sympathy with them. A draw would have been fair but they didnt put their chances away and thats football. i thought Boro showed real class and that was the difference. As i mentioned before Andre Gray
  3. Boro fan and Bees season ticket holder here (it's a long story...see lurkers thread if interested) so I can provide some insight on what to expect over the next 2 games. When they came to the Riverside in September it was by far the worst I've seen them play in 2 seasons so I wouldn't judge them on that. In the reverse fixture they were unlucky to lose at Griffin Park to a soft-ish penalty, Boro had an off day but a strong defence saved it. Things to watch out for: They have a very talented midfield - Jota and Pritchard (loan from Spurs) stand out but also Alan Judge can be a real hand
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome, can't wait til Friday!
  5. Hello! First post on here but I have been lurking for a while. I figured now is a good time to chime in. I'm a London based Boro fan, my hometown team, but I also support Brentford, my local team. Which makes the play off's kind of interesting. I was a Boro season ticket holder through the 90's until I had kids and couldn't get to the home games every other week anymore. Didn't want my kids to be Chelsea, Fulham or QPR fans like most of their classmates so started taking them to the local tinpot team in League 1/2 who needed the money. Tins being rattled before the games etc. Almost we
